Ok guys thanks for everyone who has registered for the competition, here are the details:
First up we will have a qualification vid, the deadline for this is the 10th of october, this gives everyone plenty of time to get practicing and for those who dont have a camera yet you have time to find one.
Rules:
-Vids will be 1min long (just over or under the 1min wont really matter)
-The beyondfootball.com web address must be at the start or end of each vid.
-Other than those ^^ we are not to fussy about rules, the judges will then rank us off and decide who we will VS in round 1, We will be accepting your qualification vids from 31 of september to 10th of october latest. competitiors who fail to send in a vid will have an automatic disqulification.
Thanks to the judges for taking the time to watch and judge our vids :thumbsup:

just a little tip from my part:
sometimes it is useful to film in beautiful locations, or to edit the clips in a good and decent way. (Please dont overedit or use unecessary effects!) this makes the vid more attractive for the viewers, and for the judges, which finish watching the film with a better effect/impression!

yeah dats wt we're doin, we all do a qualification vids at da beginin and da 3 judges will choose who'll qualify to round 2....da 3 judges r klikla,sven and brizze!!!! and da idea bout da beyondfootball.com for 5 sec. at da beginning is cool but first we have to get many freestylers to join then figure out da rulezz!!
Just dont understand why Alloody ask me to be a judge and write my name on the list.

why 16 or 32? I think it should be as much as possible, in everyone's interest. remember its a beginner competition, everyone should be able to join!

i would say only ppl who have freestyle for under 4 months are beginners

if you would do only under 4 months or something, you'll get vids with atw and cross and neckstall over and over. that's boring especially if you have to see that 20 times. and how are they supposed to make like 4 vids with new things and stuff? i think this is just an occasion to get experienced in competition, vid making etc.

sander iv freestyle for 3 1/2 months and i can do tatw amatw matw and nearly latw and aatw and i can also do a few small combos. also i can do some sits. and it maybe boring but its finally a competition us beginners can join

No point of writing like you even though you're going to malaysia. It's generally much short unnecessary post's on Beyondfootball.com. Much spam and bad post's with svearing and a lot of shit. If everyone wrote as good english as they could and state the reason for their post; Everything would be more serious and freestyle will increase more.
But your not the worst, i've seen much bader writing. I just say it so everyone think about it next time they post.

Maybe so, but my point wasn't that some people don't know the english word for what they're trying to say. It is the gramathic that should be better, like always start the sentence with a big first letter, comma, dot and such things. Many write like this: awesome video :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown:. It's far from nescessary to write such short post's and so many smileys. And almost no one state their reason for their post's.
My point is that if everyone try to write a bit better (i'm sure they can), i'll be much easier to understand and Beyondfootball.com will be taken more serious and freestyle will increase more.
It's probably thousand's of writing fouls in this post but at least i try to write as correct as possible.

i don't know, if we are with 21 now what can become a bit more, we can let the best 16 go through or something. so then the finalists will have made 5 vids (so make the lengths required not too long, because it's a beginner competition)

Agreed.
A part of the comp is how creative you are with tricks etc. I'm not gonna say anothing to make your chance to win bigger.

There maybe (probably) some people that can't do that with their strong foot. No, only for begginers.

Chillax man, everyone in this comp is beginners and of course not everyone could've started at the same time. Try to make a good creative video, and you might have a chance!

No i haven't seen that, but remember that skills isn't everything. Anyways, you should participe. If you don't go on to the finals ur not the only one.

just relax, it's just an occasion to get experience in making videos and competing against other freestylers (this is how i see it) and indeed the leveldifference is quite high but otherwise you get 5 participants that can do atw and cross. that would be hell boring to see 5 rounds. but at least remember that really good freestylers as oli, brizze, pwg etc are not participating. so it's still quite beginner to me although some are a lot better than others

"Beginner" is different to everybody, its what you learn in your time. OK, you say latw isnt a beginner trick but if you could do latw and only freestyled for a week or 2, does that make you a pro or a rookie?
Some people train hardcore every hour every day, thats how you get good quick ,practise. But others may not have the chance to because of school or college or work.
But when you start doing tricks like: new shit, timo atw/beck atw, latw-latw, thats when your no longer a rookie :thumbsup:

hey quick rules question: Im short of time bc of University classes and I'm in season right now, do all these have to be new unseen clips, or can some of them be a little older since its just the qualifying round :dontknow:

They don't have to be unseen, they can be old and used. That will reduce your chance to qualify though but it's your descission ;)
