Title: Why do u practise?
Post by: Cogliono Grande on Aug 23, 2008, 07:03: AM
I came up with a thought, or a question? Why do u practise?

There is three reasons for training:
1. Because u like to practise what u do.
2. Because u like the result of what ur practising on
or 3. Both of them.

Since i haven't got far in freestyle and almost never getting some good stuff i practise because i like the result.
Now i'm talking about when i'm getting a new combo or a new trick. I don't really like practise when i do bad stuff which ain't impressive.

What about u guys, specially ur that good: Do u like to practise, do u like the result or both?

I practise
1. Cos i enjoy practise, it is exercise, enjoyable and you just forget about everything else
2. Because i want to be more entertaining for the audience when i do LP's the only way to improve is to learn new and better tricks ie. practising
3. THe self-satisfaction of nailing something you have worked on for ages
4. Its funnnnnn!!!!

I practise because I enjoy the result and I enjoy doing it. I havn't been fsing for long though, so I havn't really seen much results :) but I know they will come.

If no one practises, no one gets better, Same with yourself.

Practise helps everyone get better, even if we dont like it it helps and gets us all alittle bit of exercise

I practice to get better, but seriously i don't enjoy practicing. I really think it sucks, maybe i'll change opinion when i can do stuff that i'm happy with.

1. I enjoy it
2. I think its amazing
3. To get better for LP's
4. The creative side of it,trying to come up with variations of tricks, different switches and ways out of each stall etc
5. Excerise, keeps you fit.Its better than drinking all time like I used to.
6. Meeting new talented people and discussing new tricks/problems with me.
7. Its making me famous where I live and the ladies love it.
8. It calms me while I practice unless in consistantly mess up a trick.

1.Fun
2.Exercise
3.Seeing kids smile

Most important, the passion to play with the ball like when I was a little kid, that passion never went away.Thats why i still practice, even when no one is looking or appreciating,it is very satisfying to me playing with such an old friend.
