You may think shouting "FREE TIBET" is a cool behavior, actually you know nothing.
I don't want to quarrel with you here, it's Olympics not politics.

Are they protesting for no reason then? It sounds like most people think they are being treated unfairly. I would think there's something behind that. It'd be nice if you could shed some light on it.

The United States won the 4x100-meter freestyle relay Monday, shattering the world record by nearly 4 seconds and giving Michael Phelps his second gold medal of the games. Jason Lezak swam the fastest anchor leg ever, overcoming a half-second deficit to edge out the French team by 0.08 seconds.

yeah....Phelps opened that half-pool (almost) gap and Lochte widened it, and then the other teams started to gain abit when the o0thers were swimming, but still, >5 seconds under WR time

In other news, China beat the U.S in women's gymnastics, which was the one I hoped China would lose because of all the controversy. Also, China is amazingggg at diving, they killed the competition...best diving country in the world

I heard on the news that the small Chinese girl that was singing really wasn't singing, she was lip synching to a girl her same age that was backstage. The girl backstage wasn't allowed to be the girl singing onstage because she wasn't beautiful according to the Chinese officials.

tbf phelps competes in swimming which allows him to complete in so many different events to  win medals: 4strokes, and  then theres 50m, 100m,200m,400m
also relays, and then medleys.
whereas someone like steve redgrave had to wait 16 years to win 5 medals, yet phelps can beat him in 1 games, but i dont think this make him any greater than mr redgrave, as he was competetitve over a 17 year span!

anyway more to the point, does anyone know why carolina kluft is not in heptathlon yet she is in triple jump?? :dontknow:
and would u fck her? :dontknow:

The Americans are crazy, 65 medals. BEAST.

Phelps broke 7 world records and tied 1. BEAST.

Bolt broke the WR for 100m and he starting jogging half way through, the man is crazy, and I loved his dance and how calm he was. BEAST.

shouldnt you add it up? like bronze=1 silver=2 gold=3.

a country with 4 bronze > 1 gold.

in that case top 5 would be

China: 105+26+13=144
USA: 57+42+25=124
GB: 33+12+8=53
Ger: 27+12+6=45
Auz: 24+20+11=55

GB said equestrian should be classified into black horse, white horse, red horse, yellow horse, gray horse
China said diving should be classified into 1m, 2m, 3m, 4m, 5m, 6m, 7m, 8m, 9m, 10m
Kenya said long distance running should be classified into 10000m, 11000m, 12000m...

yeh we led the whole way, but he got exhausted and started heading the wrong way causing us to lose, after the race there was 4 paramedics around him.

and that is amazing to come back from cancer and win a gold medal, especially in 10km swim. Hard event swimming for nearly 2 hours in open dirty water.

I heard Bosnia or Serbia has the second tallest people in the world on average.

By the way, they need to give the medals point values. For example, gold is 3 points, silver is 2, and bronze is 1 point. That way you could actually figure out which country wins the Olympics. The Americans just look at the total amount of medals and not the golds.
