Does anyone know how to get tickets? I looked at FIFA's website and they said they were going to start distributing them in phases starting in February 2009. Has anyone ever been to a World Cup and can help me with this? They also stated there were going to be around 3 million tickets. I hope I can get some

I think Adi went to the WC06.
Personally, I'd also love to get tickets, but this WC wouldn't suit me. Soccer Grip was suppose to meet up at this one, .. anyone remember that?

You'll be able to go to the official FIFA website around February 2009. They'll have more information on the website. In 2006, they had an online system which you used to look for tickets. You would have to check back often and spend lots of time on the site to see what was available. They start with pools in which they give out tickets. Most of the tickets are handed out like that. After that, they sell a few tickets for each game that have been returned or have been newly allocated. Me and my mates spent a good month on the site looking for tickets. We were able to get 4 games for 4 guys. Get ready for some mad refreshing with your browser...
