Title: City may pull out due to ronnies wasteline
Post by: G-Man on Jul 01, 2008, 04:00: AM
Manchester City look unlikely to splash out the pounds on Ronaldinho because they think he's piled on too many of his own.

The new look: These shirts are available in sizes small, medium, large, extra large and Ronaldinho
The Brazil World Cup winner has been released by Barcelona after a season ruined by injury and was linked to a summer move to Eastlands.

However, Ronaldinho's appearance at a charity match in Venezuela on Sunday proved City will be getting more player than they bargained for if they decide to shell out the £20m fee and £130,000 a week wages.

The 28-year-old's girth has made new Manchester City boss Mark Hughes seriously rethink his policy regarding Ronaldinho and may step aside to let Milan get their man.

The pictures of the Brazilian were almost in widescreen as the full extent of all that time out took its toll.

Ronaldinho says he just wants to get back playing after missing the last two months of the Spanish season with a knee injury and being told Barca want to sell him.

He said: 'A lot of things have been invented about me but the Barcelona fans recognise my hard work and professionalism.

'All that I ask now is to return to playing as soon as possible - it doesn’t matter where.

'I want to do what I love most of all, and that is to play football.'

the size of this shirt is medium larege, extra large and then ronaldhinho

there's no way he's that big.  Sure two months out, but still really? He's a professional.  That's just a bad picture with his shirt flailing

Hahaha this is the guy all the kids just a few years ago where claiming to be the greatest. Added to the list over hyped lads that had one or 2 good seasons and become irrelevant.

You homo.

I know its too big and I hate people having massive sigs. But a few members have large sigs now and I am going to keep this up as a protest until they all get rid of it.

Why is everyone hating on Ronaldinho?

Hahaha this is the guy all the kids just a few years ago where claiming to be the greatest. Added to the list over hyped lads that had one or 2 good seasons and become irrelevant.

Or add him to the list of players that had an injury ridden season and low morale.

lmao at the ronaldinho hate, it's fucking retarded

he's world class and already people are shooting him down, because he's put weight on. who cares? weight can be shed easily and it's no surprise ronaldinho has put some on being out injured.
as for the £20 mill price tag, fucking bargain of the 21st century.

he is a player that Arsenal should be going after. imagine how sick the team would be with him in it!!!!!!!!!! *dreams*

nah he'd be horrible for Arsenal's style of play. Arsenal play like a unit while Ronaldinho would always want to take the chances to score and dribble and the team would get frustrated. Also there'd be alotta bandwagon arsenal fans then just cuz of ronnie

The guy can return to his peak if he just takes things seriously again. Gaining all that weight is really unprofessional.

??

Ronaldinho plays exactly how arsenal would want, skills, on the ground, flair, passing.

as for the bandwagon...who cares, more money for the club.

only thing is Wenger is on the £60k a week max, so players like ronaldinho probably wouldn't take that, even though it's obscene.

when the economy breaks down like it's going to, clubs like Man United/Real Madrid will be fucked.
Look at the wages they are paying out.

Shit won't last and Arsenal know this. Smart club. Fuck trophys when they play such good football.

no offense, but i think the "arsenal plays such good football" is a bit overrated. i find it quite annoying how they can play in the first 2/3rds the pitch, but suck dick in the final third. i personally don't find it that entertaining, and don't quite understand why people jump on the aresenal play great 3rd place football bandwagon.

because they play actual football. Not sprint for 90mins like the rest of the Prem.

hate on me if u want but try to find a team other than Arsenal who can actually string passes together consistently

Stringing passes together don't necessarily mean successful seasons or silver wear as Arsenal have proven.

I don't really think anyone cares about Ronaldinhos waist line or how irrelevant he has become.

yea ronaldinho may have skill but the past season he threw it down the drain for late night parties and at the expense of his stomach muscles

I read he has always been into the parties.  When he was at PSG the manager was always pissed because he stayed late on his holidays in Brasil.  I thought he loved football more than anything else.  I bet he does the same thing in Barcelona.  Big party city

whats with all the hate on Ronnie. im sick of these fake fans (not to anyone on this forum) in general. they all root for a the best player at some point then just start hating when he needs fan support the most. im guessing if Ronaldo had problems similar to Ronnie's i bet all the bandwagoners will jump off and jump on some other players wagon, lol. its quite funny.
