What happen to the good old days where we use to have good arguments.
Well i'm bringing arguments back.
Here is a thread where you can argue what is the best league on every/each level eg. Performance, flair, Goals etc.
-
La Liga is the best and has always been the best followed closely by Seria A. Close thread.
-
Sorry man, i hate the premiership's dominane as much as the next guy but Serie A is going down the shitter ATM.
Best in categories:
Flair: La Liga
Passion: Theres no leagues with good passion ATM, im gonna say Prem tho
Fans: Bundesliga!
Best Players: Tough one... Premiership by a shade over la liga
Competitevness: Serie A, theres about 5 teams who could win, compared to 2 in England and Spain
Goals: EREDIVISIE... theres like 2974 goals in each match
-
best players: premier league
best football: primera divisions
most exciting: eredivisie
coolest fans: turkey or germany
goals: eredivisie (average most goals per match in whole europe)
best goals: serie A (many distance goals or wellperformed counters)
-
i like more or less all football from Europe
-
Seria A is just not broadcasted enough but is in my opinion is the best
-
yea like tito said they show too much prem league in NA
-
i'd have to also say the Dutch erediveser are the best producers of young talent over the dacades they have produced greats like Kanu, Seedof, Davids etc and still keep producing players like Huntelaar
-
La Liga
the soccer there is beautiful and intelligent. It makes me so happy to watch.
-
the prem will never reach the standards set by la liga and seria A.
barca and madrid games are sold out before the season even begins.
-
actually, Barca only sells tickets 2 weeks before each game

What?? Are you sure? The English league is by far the most competitive at the moment. It has the best teams in Europe in it.

I agree, I just like soccer in La Liga better
-
Couldn't tell you. Here all I can see is the premiership. I get Serie A too, but I can't get into those games. But the premier league is probably the best, from what I see in the Champions League.

the only reason why people like the epl is because every sport chanel in the world brodcasts it.
-
except espn

not true. look at the champions league semi-finals and finals. england obviously has the best league at the moment.

They broadcast it for a reason. It's everywhere because it's the best and most entertaining.
-
most entertaining because all they do is just attack and attack. and that is not true football. watching the epl is like wating a tennis match. the ball goes from left to right and back again every three seconds
-
I think you may be the only one that dislikes attacking and free flowing football. What is it that you like? Organized defending snooze fests?
-
people who claim to like football but don't really like these snooze fests ur speaking of.
-

no no, dont get me wrong. i like it because it is non stop action. but what i am saying is it is not true football. i like to see matches where the game is won in the midfield. gruling battles between midfeilders and counter attacks.
-
So like how Italians play? And do you also like defending a 1-0 lead? Is that REAL football? Or is it about the attacking football that is found in England?
-
no it's about the attacking football found in Spain
-
not only that but the only reason England has become so powerful in the past decade is because rich Americans have bought the clubs and invested LOTS of money into them, allowing them to buy all the best players for the world. And the situation with the Champs League, thats the only time its ever happened and i wont be surprised it thats the only time it happens in a LONG time.
For those that remember, the Bundesliga was the most powerful league in the world because they were the first league to start scouting younger players and bringing them from their homelands to play for their clubs. The rest of Europe caught on and all the big money Americans bought the young kids, the German's cashed in on their salaries but not on the football, thats y we havent seen a real contender for the Champs league from Germany for a few years.
I hope the Germans embarrass the English this time around
-
What's changing this season that would prevent English teams from dominating in the Champion's League? I don't see any big changes. Although I heard something about how the Serie A was going to allow more non EU players on the teams or something.
-
one year the english have a good champs league and everyone is up there ass.
i like to see passing football the kind of arsenal and the way they played. they fucking almost made me cry thats how good they played. remember argentina and there goal in the world cup. thats football. have you seen the counter attacks of ac milan. thats football. have you seen the way france defended against brazil in the WC and brazil gave it all they got until the last minute. thats football
