AMSTERDAM, May 31 (Reuters) - Forward Ryan Babel has been ruled out of the Dutch squad for the Euro 2008 finals after suffering an ankle injury in training on Saturday.
Babel tore ankle ligaments during training in the Dutch village of Hoenderloo.
The KNVB said a replacement for Babel was being discussed.
It just keeps getting better for Romania.

Babel has been replaced by Khalid Boularouz from Sevilla/Chelsea. That's good news because we can use Boularouz good in the defence. In the front there are enough good players

i feal really bad for babel after shinning in the under 21 champs last year looked like it would only improve himself playing for when he comes back to play for us :down:

Good riddance. I was excited when I first seen Bable at Ajax, but the more I observed the man the more it seemed he is like Joe Cole. He holds and holds and holds the ball. The stooge doesn't know when to shoot or pass. Great build up player for sure but 9/10 times its pretty pathetic end result I must say.
Also this gives Khalid Boularouz a chance to shine again. I hope Chelsea recall him because hes a pretty solid defender. He wasn't given a fair enough go in the EPL. Also he did a great job in the Champions League games which he fatured for us. Maybe him and Alex can for a great second CB combination. ?Just like he had at Hamburg with Van Buyten.
