Post by: lilmaniac on Jan 06, 2008, 05:55: AM
tomorrow is the college american football national championship game between LSU and Ohio State, Ohio State was in the national game last year and they lost 41-14 to Florida, LSU has lost two games this past season...both in overtime, and ohio state was upsetted by at the time unranked illinois. majority of the people think LSU will win...

LSU will loose because LSU sounds like an STD and that's bad

a;slihja;akhj (conner) will be at the game, he goes to LSU.

I'll be a few minutes around the corner though, I start classes tomorrow in New Orleans, and i'm definitely going to catch the buzz in the city after LSU wins

ok ill just say it now that i was wrong, ohio state got out played in pretty much every aspect of the game yesterday...38-14 was the final score...ohio state looked good on its its first drive meanwhile the first drive was the worst for LSU...from there lsu went on a roll

LSU!

I was right. Made friendly bets with football friends. ;)

The LSU QB is really good.

Matt Flynn is an alright player, great leader and teammate.  (By "alright" I mean) Not top-notch NFL talent.  Ryan Perrilloux, the back-up, has much more raw NFL talent.  You have to remember who his weapons are.

OSU hadn't seen a team that dynamic all year.

 :pimp:

I was going to give you a call Bryan, but we didn't stay for more than an hour afterwards.  We had been out and about since 9 a.m.

Score was 38-24.

Quote
Posted up at the bar is Pelini and Moffit pounding shots and having a good old time. Pelini is a hell of a nice guy and hilarious to boot. Every fifteen minutes, he'd stand on his stool, tell everyone to quiet down, and yell, "It is 4 am, and Ohio State still sucks!!" And the bar would go nuts! It was legendary. Then Luke Sanders came in, and Pelini would yell, "Luke, you are my son!" Haha. And on Moffit, he is a super nice guy, and believe me, we do not have to worry about him ever going anywhere. Go Tigers!

Word of mouth.  Bo Pelini is the (now former) LSU Defensive Coordinator.  Tommy Moffit is the LSU Strength and Conditioning Coach.  Luke Sanders is a player.

How come you guys didn't play the backup then?

Matt Flynn still got it done, only threw one pick while the OSU QB threw 2 and you guys got a TD off of one I think.

Matt Flynn is a RS Senior.  Ryan Perrilloux is a RS Sophomore.

Does that mean he's not allowed to play cause he's too old?  :dontknow:

Matt Flynn graduates this year.  Ryan Perrilloux has two years of eligibility left and will probably start for the next two years.  He has all of the tools to be a top-notch NFL prospect.

Ah, and he's already good you're saying? That's great news for your university.

Anyways, regarding the location of where this was played, was it already decided that it was to be played in New Orleans before you guys made it to the finals, or it was only played there because you guys made it to the finals.

If that makes sense.

At big time college programs, many great players do not come in and start right away depending upon the players they have ahead of them: ex. Glenn Dorsey was not a regular starter until last year (his junior season).

The site of the FBS bowl games is predetermined.

Wasn't that a bit ironic that it was played in New Orleans, and then you guys win.

I don't know off-head.  I'll look for the list of players that sent their papers in.  1-3 first round picks are likely.
