it's a shittier association. they have some alright/very good fighters (robbie lawler, cung le, and kimbo the sideshow) and have some fighters coming up
basically wec = ufc of the lighter divisions (the ufc of divisions the ufc doesn't carry/some fighters in other divisions who are pretty good (paulo filho, another casa preta fighter, incidentally). see miguel torres urijah faber.)
affliction/adrenaline mma has some very good fighers (especially n the heavyweight division. fedor, arloviski, sylvia, etc.)

not only the nba, he could go down other routes.
Running or b-ball freestyling like tommy baker. He would have to learn a few more tricks though, the freestyle route would be last option seeing as there is less money in it.
I hope he makes the right decision and gets good advice and doesnt get screwed by people.

Download tvu player and it has an mma channel that shows the ppv for free. Its what I do since i'm too cheap of a bastard to pay for them myself.
