I have this debate, day in day out with my roommate. He claims Wright Phillips, can you believe that?? It is of course David Bentley. He is bright, creative, has two feet and great delivery. For me, he will prove to be one of the best right midfielders in europe in the next few years.
What do you guys think?

Wish I could have an opinion on this one, but I haven't seen enough of Bentley to make a good enough arguement. As far as SWP is concerned, I think he's still a bit inconsistent and lacks that composure in delivering the final ball or finishing off a chance.

Consistency: Bentley > SWP
Overall: SWP > Bentley

SWP would have been great if he had never signed for chelsea, i got to go with bentley
-
Equal in my opinion cuase if Bently went to Chelsea he would never play and is SWP went to Blackburn he would be rated highly
btw TheKingNut is your friend a Chelsea fan
-
He is not a chelsea fa, tito, no. He is just annoying
-
Tom, get Brad on here. I want to hear some of his arguements against Rooney.
-
i say Bentley. Blackburn depend on him more, he gets more time, hes a freekick expert and the man works so hard. i loved SWP at Man City obviously it was a poor move to go to chelsea for him. he is a wonderful player but for me out of the two i say bentley

Hands down Bentley,Coming from a Chelsea fan. SWP is fast but not much technique.
Overall Bentley>SWP.

Spurs rival Chelsea, Liverpool for want-away Bentley
David Bentley is ready to quit Blackburn Rovers, it has been revealed.
The Daily Mail says Bentley has told Blackburn he wants the chance to move on and has turned down an offer of an improved contract.
Liverpool and Chelsea have both tracked the 23-year-old midfielder, but Tottenham, where he would be sure to play every week, believe they could outbid the big four teams for the former Arsenal trainee.
if this is true it should prove whose better both at top clubs
-
not sure if he wants to go to a big club again unless he is guarenteed time. that is why he left arsenal
