Title: Definitely Not Well Known
Post by: WiledErik on Mar 22, 2013, 02:04: AM
There is a team here in Bangkok sponsored by Futera trading cards (from the UK?).

Seems they are trying to implement their game in the real world by allowing fans to vote for team decisions before the game and live during the game.  I'm not sure how effective this for a successful team.

Think it would or wouldn't work?

Is it just a marketing gimmick?

I'm not sure how opposing supporters would be deterred from voting to sabotage the team or from casual fans making poor choices.  I guess you would expect to have an engaged and loyal base of supporters.

Sound kinda fake if you ask me.

What do you mean by fake?  As in not a real team or like fans having input that is considered is fake?
