Incredible, but very risky.

It's not risky if you know what you are doing.

No, anything like this is always risky even for professionals. I mean, you see professional skate boarders, bmx, race car drivers, etc. wreck. It happens. The difference is they can pull it off, but if you or I tried it, we'd be certain to wreck. I'm sure they do know what they are doing, but they have to concentrate really to make sure you not to wreck. Also, they didn't start out as experts. I'm not sure how you practice this without wrecking several time.s

It's obvious that they know what they're doing, but it is always associated with risk. Can they do it for the first time? Or maybe they are already perfectly prepared? Despite this, there is always a high risk that something will go wrong.

Well if you look at it that way even walking up the stairs is risky.

It's risky to walk up the stairs when you're around 2 yrs old :great:

Not trolling, but being serious. There is some risk in anything you do. There are also different kinds of risk and levels of risk. For example, there isn't only risk of injury or death. You risk dropping the ball doing certain freestyle tricks. There are also different levels of risk which I can use these examples. Atw is low risk, eldo atw is very high risk. The one Jon compared: Walking up the stairs is very minimal risk, but it does somewhat exist. Performing these stunts is very high risk, because one mistake could lead to serious injury or death. Now, being skilled definitely cuts the risk down considerably, but this would still be high risk. Another example: Bullfighting is high risk, but the Matadors are highly trained, and the design of the bullfight is to give the matador advantage. That being said, Matadors do get beat by the bull on occasion, and the results are usually bad.

Couldn't eldo be considered low risk and atw high risk for a freestyler who has mastery skill i eldo but has never done an atw? So wouldn't risk be associated with skill level then?
