This thread can be used for any random chat. Keep it to at least comprehensible posts. No just complete spamming.

Bigmac has a Bigmac and other McDonald's food items forum I've heard. I hear some freestylers have joined it as well.

I don't know. I've only looked at it once, and the layout looked terrible. It was annoying being on it. As slow as BF has been lately, at least it looks fairly nice.

Ahh, so he did. I'm guessing most people have migrated there because of 'by freestylers, for freestylers' mentality and nothing more. I have a feeling the bigger and known freestylers have mentioned something about not using this forum judging by their past posts here.
This place feels like home though and you can see who the loyalists are.

It's not active at all. It's just as small of a community. The difference being there are many freestylers that still have BF accounts, but they haven't used them in a while. Most freestylers don't have a L2F account. That's the name of it. Learn2Freestyle. No offense meant to Macca, but I just don't see why actual freestylers would want to be in a forum called Learn2Freestyle. Sounds like a beginners help site.

:wtf: why do you feel so.. they don't even have time to log in to l2f... szymo dosen't share his vids anywhere else than bf... or his fb account :p beginner freestylers who refister to that forum FOR HELP have now established as freestylers and they post only there...

Mainly because certain freestylers have made it clear that they don't like Adi being the owner of the forum and that keeping the football portion of the forum is detrimental to freestyle. In order to rectify the problem you'll have to remove it.
Or maybe everyone is busy at the exact same time.
About the name, I don't think it's much better than beyondfootball. If it wasn't well known it would hardly suggest freestylers should come here for freestyle. Same with L2F, it's a branding name and as long as freestylers associate the name with freestyle, it doesn't matter.

The thing about the football and Adi does make sense. I personally don't have a problem with those guys not being here. I don't think we need close minded people like that. Also, there is a connection between football and freestyle. Denying it is just stupid. I'm also sure my activity pissed many of them off. I've always been one of the more pro football freestyler around.
I don't think the name matters that much. We have to name it something, and it needs to be a brand. We can't just name it generically freestyle football forum. Beyond Football is good, because it says the forum is beyond football which makes it a freestyle forum.
I think the biggest problem was when BF was crashing all the time. I remember a good period where it was almost impossible to log in. I think most people went away after that. Also, Facebook definitely hasn't helped. It's almost easier just to talk about freestyle on there. I know I've been added to these groups all the time on there. I'd rather do that on a forum.

It was initially good when people like Azun, oLi, TF, Ethan or Budz were commenting on that forum a lot, shared some interesting points of view and their experience. Also Leha was posting on the forum a lot... so someone would say it was a perfect forum :grin:
But Leha is banned now, the good freestylers are rarely commenting and the topics dont get much attention. And when they do, its only noobs posting comments.

That's Leha for ya though. He has some good and humorous posts, but he definitely posts his fair share of negative bullshit. I personally don't mind overall.

we should post more amongst each others.. rather than asking or hoping those freestyylers which took bf to it's prime.. i think it's now time to take over... i, emil, knnthh, reds, LIS, royal are regular and frequent posters
i don't know why kako, smiles, and vittolen aren't posting much... all others just come and share (DUMP :grin: ) their vids here and don't even give a shit what's going on in here... better than finding out for alternative solutions... we can do better on our own :13:

The whole point of this is for us to talk. It really doesn't matter who it is talking. It only matters that there is an active community.

But as far as I know, his "dunnowhois" account is still active. I just think he is not interested in posting here anymore.
I think "Help and Advice" section is also crucial for increasing forum activity. Im sure bringing Leha/some more experienced freestyler to post here again would do some good, as noobs would appreciate this forum for helping them with progress and would find it cool to talk to some freestyle legends. The problem is those "more experienced freestylers" dont visit BF anymore (just to post their vids at best). But in my opinion, showing all the beginners that there is enough people willing to help them could eventually pay off, as they wouldnt be afraid to post something else and the forum wouldnt be dead. And if those noobs would make enough progress, they would eventually become decent freestylers, who could in turn help the less experienced ones & make interesting topics & post good videos.
God knows if this would work in real life, but maybe we could give it a try.

I'm new to another forum and I'm the noob there, people are so helpful and makes me keep coming back just to be apart of that community. I think that's why the older forums were so active and how this place used to be a lot more active too. The general feel is noticed straight away on forums when you're new there. If you post something and it gets viewed a lot but no one responds, you automatically think the questions either been asked or no one wants to help you because they don't know you.

I think that's why the older forums were so active and how this place used to be a lot more active too. The general feel is noticed straight away on forums when you're new there. It's a forum for TES:V, specifically in the modding portion is where I've been visiting regularly. Granted it is a massive community but no one goes unheard or ignored, that's how this place should be. And it's not always the same 3 people responding to my questions.

Good posts guys. I just want to thank all of you for being active and staying loyal to the forum. Big thanks to redsforlife and L_I_S. Ya'll have been top notch.
Lots of good members here still. It's just a matter of posting more. I know when I step away from the forum for a few days or weeks, it's initially hard to post. However, when I hit a few days of active posting, it gets me right back into it. We just need more activity from those of us that are here and others will start posting as well.
L_I_S, I like where you're going with the helpful side of forums. We need to be a friendly crowd and welcome the new members and help as much as possible.
