Should sole juggles be learnt first? To what degree - approx 10 easily on average attempt?
-
first you could try juggles in my opinion

Sole juggles are far easier at first than sole stall. Also, you would like of look silly being able to toss the ball up to sole stall, but not sole juggle at all.
Practicing sole juggles you should just keep at it. Make sure you are using small touches with the ball of your foot just pushing the ball up. The reason soles are so hard at first is it's not something you naturally practice. You have no prior skill in this area. Once you can do around 100 sole juggles you can begin to try sole stall.
For sole stall, you should start out with both feet in the air as it makes balance and flexibility easier. Stall the ball on the arch of the foot. You really just have to stick at it. Once you got sole stall, you will be able to do it for a very long time.

i was reading this topic. and i practice on my college campus... how do i practice sole juggling and what not without looking like a complete fool xD
-
Well, if you are worried about people staring at you and looking like a fool you might want to try it in your room or something. Another good tip is to practice near a corner preferably while learning, so when you drop the ball you don't have to get up and walk as far. This will help frustration.
If you are on a college campus, people will be doing stupid shit all the time, so I wouldn't worry about looking silly. I just wouldn't obsess over practicing it for an entire session. Try it for 5-10min every session. You will see improvements with juggling fairly soon. Within months you may be able to get 10-20 competently if you train it regularly.
