quite a bit of planning into this and there are still things to confirm. We are looking at late August to hold this Official Comp. Basically the Comp is the biggest annual comp in BF and it's open to everyone and is looking for the best all round freestyler out there. Skora and BenGau are the confirmed 2 out of 3 judges and there is also the possibility of Nam the Man supporting this comp with prizes.
I just wanted to know, who would be interested to enter? There are still elements to be confirmed but I just want a rough count of the numbers. :13:

You should just make a number for the first round like 40 or something. Have every that is interested enter in a qualifying round, than pick the top40 for the contest.

You should promote the forum first though, its dead in here, there are barely people to join. Also, there will probably be a l2f comp at the same time, so most of the people (probably including me) will join that

I think we'll see a lot of people participate who don't normally post.
Would be great to get Andrew, Michryc and some top freestylers to take part. They are usually browsing the forum, maybe they would join.
We need to make a short video promoting it... I'll also get some banners up so people will know.
Let's use this for ideas so we can be ready.
Also, I don't give a shit about L2F. We'll do our comp when it works for most people. People can choose what they want to take part in... we'll have some top prizes in ours.

IDEA: Let's create a Facebook group for the BF comp. I say "group" specifically because you get regular notifications and updates on facebook when there's an update in the group. Pages are now hidden, but groups really stand out.

We would just create the group to announce the competition date and provide updates on when entries are due. It's going to serve as a reminder for those that don't check the forum on a regular basis.
Once we start the comp, we'll make all the announcements here and just point the people from the group this way.
It's just going to be a way of promoting the competition.

Ya, the group is a great idea. To make sure the forum activity stays high, we never release any major information on the facebook page. Instead you should just leave a link to the forum.

I got an idea too, Adi! :D
I'm planing to organize L2F official competition after Prague too. So after both forums have their winners, we can make them in an ultimate battle, L2F competition winner vs. BF competition winner. Kinda like UEFA Super Cup in football.

tbh I'd rather have a comp where everyone can enter and not have to choose between the 2 forums as to which to enter which will only attract less competitors.

Yeah, we can do something between the two forums but I really don't want people to have to decide which comp to take part in. People can participate in both... I don't want people choosing when there's no need.

but what if both forums have the same winner :grin: :grin: ... but what we can do is top5 BF vs top5 L2F this would be really nice more battles and at every level and all styles separately and allround as well this would be real fun !!! :great:

firstly it's VRK not VKR :p
secondly, yea. you are right that's what i meant to say... we can do it not the whole compitition but only the best 5 from both the forums this would be real fun!! if both of the forums agree!! but frankly speaking it's not one forum owning the other or shit like that... it's good for freestyle... remember no forum would win... it's freestyle which is the ultimate winner :victory:
