Bayern in negotiations with Pep Guardiola for 2013

Bild reports we want Pep Guardiola as next Bayern coach in 2013. Nerlinger met his agent brother at the Spanish Cup final. That's why he turned down Chelsea's 13M a year offer.

If this happened...

A few other notes...

Of the domestic options, Slomka is reportedly favored by Uli. Scholl is also a future coaching candidate. Kalle and Nerlinger seem to favor Favre. Both Slomka and Favre are relectutant to extend their contracts at their current clubs.

Guardiola is the club's number one candidate. He considers Bayern to be a young team with a a philosophy of attacking football similar to his Barca side. Chelsea and Milan who were interested in acquiring his services are the polar opposite of that. Wages are not a priority for him. He earned 10M a year at Barca, Bayern are certainly able to pay him that kind of money.

There are fears among the FO that the club might revert to its old habit of not having a philosophy / a plan on how to develop the team. They are alarmed by recent comments made by own youth players and cornerstones of the team like Lahm and Müller who refused to commit their future 100% to the club.
