-
nice battle but I think Jamie was much better
-
no offense , but i thought jamie was much better in this round, he was all around and was quite beastly with his lowers, especially that alt magellan.
-
yes, both had great moves, but Jamie was better for me.
pallur
-
Both were great but Jeremie was better, who were the judges?????????????????/
-
:PDT_Armataz_01_37:
sick battle
-
Congrats Dan. Jamie did very well here... glad you got it though.
Where was this by the way? Looks like a tiny room with no room to maneuver.
-
Very close battle, I think the result could have gone either way.
Great job Dan! :PDT_Armataz_01_37:

Andrew, Tiernan and a Irish bboy.

Grafton Lounge, Dublin. Agreed, not really the ideal place for a freestyle football competition to be held, RB should've helped out.

BTW, if you watch Jamie's previous battles from this competition, you'll see he repeated the same sets throughout the entire competition, so that was surely one of the reasons why he lost in the final.

Jamie was much better :Woot_Emoticon:

That's a good point.

This is one of the most stupid things about these competitions and judging. If judges think like this, they are totally wrong ! They should judge battles individually ! That's why there are different batles stages, quarters, semis, and A FINAL ! If what he did in the final was way better than what the other one did in the final, then he should be THE WINNER! NO DOUBT ABOUT IT !!!

Sorry, but what you're saying is complete crap, you obviously have no idea how battles work...
On top of that, by repeating the same set(s) in every battle, he'll automatically lose the Variety category.

:iagree: True, if it was a close battle then this can be a deciding factor. But in a battle like this where the winner is clear it should not matter so much who repeats tricks from previous battles.
Everyone has their own battle style and most guys want to show their best tricks every battle.
-
I don't know why ppl are saying that jamie was the CLEAR winner...
Is it just because he did alt. rev. magellan?
dan was really good too...
-
variety in the different battles is the most important thing in such a comp. its a great indicator of your qualitiy as freetyler, when you mastered a lot of tricks. and then it would be boring if everyone repeats his best 90 seconds, what you should do according to this logic

Well said.
-
well im not sure why you guys say variety is the MOST important. I don't think a freestyler should lose points in control and style because of repeating tricks from previous battles. The only way i can see Jamie losing here is if he lost points in this way.
Also, Jamie showed a lot of variety within this battle. Also, imo he clearly won control and style. Harder tricks, better flow and more control and not boring at all. His first and third rounds were especially good.
-
of course Jamie was better . Miran has a strange vision bout judging :lol_hitting: . how to decide the winner of a battle according to what that guy did in previous ones?!! craaazy.
-
lol imagine everyone doing the same routine in each battle
