Have got Budz as one of the judges so I am looking for 2 more judges. If you are interested, comment "judge".
More details will be released as soon as I finalize competitor numbers and judges.
Competition will roughly take place at the start of June after the "Pass It On" Lowers Competition is over.
Qualification video deadline: May 27th

There was a thread about this before and this is how Ethan described beginner, intermediate lowers etc. I think it is correct too.
Ethan:
beginner: up to 25 trick combo, tatw amatw nt, amatw amatw nt, tatw atatw nt, latw,
lmatw/ltatw, alatw, ahmatw, ahtatw.
intermediate: 30+ tricks with at least 12 weak foot of which at least 6 need to be
atw/hatw. then any 3 move nt, almatw/altatw, rsatw/satw/almatw - perhaps your first
3 revolution trick.
advanced: 40+ trick combos with 100% balance on both feet (20/20), 4+ nt, 2+ diferent
3 revolution tricks, almatw/rsatw/satw - nt, at least 4 ahm/aht/al in a combo and 3
in a row of one of them etc...
Also watch the beginner comp final videos of last comp in this thread and compare to yourself:

I can do a 25+ combo and ltatw combos but i have no chance against some of the other guys. In my opinion the level for a beginner competition is too high. After watching the competitors i have to say no, sorry :bf:

Beginners cant do 25+ combo's and ltatws. Just saying.

Beginners aren't only the guys who just started, they can be the ones that will be counted as intermediate soon too.

Gustavo you can win this using only your weak foot.
I thought my ltatw combo will not be too fair for the quaily's but when I saw the first video then I changed my mind.

lol, mine is also not so beginner, but I'm in just because of my weak foot, I need to really work on it hard.
And yeah, Smile, good video, I like the style, but try to practice really hard your weak foot. I made that mistake, I didn't practice with my weak foot and now, year after I'm in the beginner competition.

Videos with those combos are not allowed according to the rules of this comp so those videos will be disqualified by the judge anyway, so i don't know why some guys are worried.
.......also, to be honest i think FreestyleNessi is not beginner :grin:
KoTFree's video is beginner level imo. ltaatw, 20 move combo is beginner........according to the rules.

No. Which video? :017: Maybe we need more categories like in boxing. Lightweight, featherweight etc :grin:
Intermediate comps have guys doing 3 rev tricks, 4 move nt combos etc. None of these videos in this comp would even come close to intermediate level.
The previous intermediat comp used these rules:

I think we have a range of different leveled "beginners" in this comp. Some are fresh beginners and some are high beginners. This should not demotivate competitors though as I can see a lot of improvements with the videos already up compared to their previous videos!

I'm more of a beginner tbh. But i would still enter intermediate for fun. I would most likely lose in the 1st round :grin:
My exams end soon so i will have more time to fs in June.
