yo,
Just wanted to type up some of my current anger and just let you guys know of a situation involving a few freestylers.
Basically, Leha was in touch with myself, Tom Folan, Max Meyer, Zegan, Szymo, Michryc, Dany, Rocco, Tobias and a few others concerning a competition which was meant to happen on 5th January in St. Petersburg.
Basically, all our trips were meant to be paid for by the sponsors of the competition and Leha ensured us all several times that we would be getting our tickets very soon (a few weeks ago).
Leha made no effort to contact us to let us know what was happening unless we contacted him ourselves...
Last wednesday, I messaged Leha saying that it was getting quite late to get our visas (we couldnt get our visas yet because Leha had not yet sent us our tickets), less than one month before the competition. Only then, once i contacted him, he sent me this 'it was cancelled by our sponsor, so sorry about that and good luck... maybe some time we contact again for that.'
I know both myself and Max had cancelled holidays in order to go to the competition and now I have had to rebook my holiday at a way more expensive price all because Leha is irresponsible and seems to have no regard for what he is saying/not saying to us...
Moral of the story: although in Russia the guy is a god, he is not...
We were told to keep the trips secret and that's why I felt I should type this up because I want to expose the shit that Leha is doing!

I also asked him yesterday what was going on now.. I didn't even know it was cancelled until now. He could at least told us it was cancelled...

Yes, anybody who is even slightly responsible would, the second he found out that the sponsors cancelled...simply add everybody who he invited to one facebook message and then type of a message saying sorry. but no, Leha waited for each one of us to individually contact him before telling us its cancelled.
Somebody who is properly responsible would have simply kept us in the loop throughout the whole process...I am am sure the sponsors were never 100% confirmed and yet Leha let us believe they were.

well i dont know any details and i am not upset or anything since i can still go on vacation but yeah it would have been nice to be informed that it was cancelled.
still i fucking loved the idea of going there

I share your opinion.
And, Ethan, I feel sorry for your holidays, but you shouldn't have thrown it public even though it's cancelled for now.
What if the comp did actually happen? Would you also be pickin on Leha?
You should feel happy you were invited by him. I'm sure he didn't do that with the purpose of destroying (y)our holidays.

Yea, you can say its my fault that the comp is cancelled, but be fair - Im not the sponsor. Sponsor said 'yes' during 1 month, Ive invited you when I had finally confirmation of that! It was from the meeting with our sponsor personally! Then, he dissappeared for some time, then appeared and again said 'yes' - all was seemed to be good! But then he dissappeared again and suddenly said 'we cant sponsor your comp, sorry!"
What should I tell you during his silent? 'Guys, make your holidays going on, if he appears I will message you and you cancel it again" or what?

And yea, how much I could tell it it isn't my fault - SORRY GUYS, really, without being sarcastic, Im very sorry about that and that my invitation forced you to cancel your holidays or to lose smth. And please, don't blame another russians - its my and sponsor's fault, not them.
If there is next time when smth gonna be held in Russia, be sure it won't be me.

I hate this "secret" things! I was really fucked up when I saw the tek neek video -Hungary- Sven and Thomas were in Hungary and the 90% of the hungarian freestylers didnt know anything about it.

If you are interested in this situation, it was in 'secret' just for russian guys, but since now many russians talk with others much time, I asked everyone not to say it to anybody.

Leha I am not in any way blaming you for the cancellation and I am honoured that I was ever invited...all I am saying is that I told you that my holidays depended on it and you could have kept us informed...Even if you were never 100% certain you should have messaged us and let us know..I could have booked my holiday just for different dates. My only insult/blame is the issue of not keeping us informed throughout the whole process and not even telling us at the end when it was cancelled, u waited until I contacted you.

Ethan, the day you contacted me was the day after the cancellation. I said it was cancelled to you only, because knew you had to do your holidays instead, but I still was trying to get another one sponsor, although anyway there were gonna be probems with visas thenx but they could nbe resolvednv. And when I got refused by 2nd, ive messaged others. Btw, sorry Sven for not pm you. And again sorry, guys...

That's a shame... I guess Leha could only do so much in this case.

Sign a contract with sponsors, after that inform freestylers about tournament.
