have you deleted any of the clips that your using in the video? maybe by accident you deleted one of them, check that, and if you havent then let me know and i will tell you what to do

oh... is this what happened?

you filmed your clips, you plugged in your camera to your pc, you went into windows movie maker and imported the clips straight from the camera, edited your video, and when you unplugged the camera from the computer it says it cant locate the clips?

i get this a lot, i use clips straight from my camera plugged to my pc, and when my camera runs out of battery the clips 'go offline'. the solution is simply to copy and paste the clips from your camera onto your hard drive first off.

as for fixing this, youll either have to reedit, or if it gives you the option to locate the missing clips, plug in your camera and do that.

no thats not right lol

i copied the videos onto my pc then i edited them and took just the parts i wanted then i changed the format of them to mpeg then i tried to put them in windows movie maker,
i did some research and i think i need to combine the files but when i highlight them and right click the combine option is grayed out ahhh'

so you can import them fine once theyre converted but you cant save the movie once youve gone through and edited it in wmm?

Yes, sputnik
i import them all from my desktop to wmm and then i add them to the timeline and make a title and credits,
i can save it as a movie maker file but not a movie file, i need to combine my clips but its not working,
i tried downloading a thing off the internet the allowed me to combine them into 1 clip but the quality was crap.
thanks for your help,

Wow, I've honestly never heard of that before. Are you absolutely sure all files are compatible and are on your hard drive? Try importing the same videos over again..
