Title: Transfers & Rumours
Post by: Adi on Nov 18, 2011, 05:37: AM
New thread for Transfers and Rumours.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is keeping a close eye on Daniele De Rossi's contract situation at Roma and will make a move for the midfielder if the negotiations collapse.

About time someone tries to sign him.  He's one of the top center mids... pure class and perfect for the CM position of any top team.  I think Man U needs him more but City is the one with the cash.  Perfect Barry replacement.

dude, top teams have been trying to sign this guy for many years. He always chooses to stay because his heart belongs in roma. Also, roma consider him invaluable and will only sell if he wants to go.

Fact: Roma have never negotiated with any club over the sale of de rossi or totti.

I would also love to see de rossi in a big team but it is more likely he will sign a contract extension with his beloved roma :victory: .......but madrid have been trying to soften up roma in recent years with the sale of cicinho, heinze, gago and baptista to roma. And now they are trying to sell them lass diarra too haha........but still de rossi will never leave i think.

who should inter milan buy in january? Surely they need to bring new players. They are in 17th place with 8 points from 9 games :undecided:

They have awesome players already but maybe they are missing eto'o. I really dont understand whats happening with them these days :017:

Yeah, you're right.  He doesn't want to leave and Roma won't let him go.  But it might be different now.  Roma is slipping up and the attraction of playing in Italy isn't that great anymore.

Hahahaha!  Inter is still at the bottom?!!!  What a fucking joke.

They need to get rid of some of their old farts and bring in young talent.  Young lads who already play at top level and have experience.  Some players that come to mind are: Di Maria, Gourcuff, Gotze, Hummels, etc.

Not that they can get these guys but players of that type.

seems like it it a battle between inter milan and ac milan to see who gets tevez! Mancini said today he is likely to go to italy :victory:

Milan have major injury problems with cassano and pato. Also robinho is off-form and inzaghi is very old.

Inter have injury problems with forlan. Also zarate is very inconsistent. And pazzini and milito are good but are too similar to play together.

So both teams desperately need tevez.

Marco Reus is being targeted by Bayern and Dortmund.  It's gonna be crazy signing that guy... I posted a video of him a month ago.  The next big thing in Germany.  He's got a shitty Monchengladbach side around the top of the table in Germany.

I thought Wenger would play Podolski on the left but Wenger said he wants Podolski to play as central striker. He is playing as a striker for Koln now and is scoring a lot.

But Wenger also said he sees Walcott as a striker but it never happened. So I think Podolski will play on the left despite what Wenger says.

I think Podolski is average. Arsenal should get Hazard instead.......or both.

They say he is the restaurant owner and an arsenal fan, but why is he sitting with mancity owners at matches? And if he is an arsenal fan why would he be trying to sell him to City.

Bayern is interested in Higuain. :)

Every club in europe wants him. I hope higuain stays at madrid. But if he left i would be happy for him to get more playing time. But for me he is worth at least 40 million euro. So if bayern have that money then ok, but it should be no less than that.

Even if madrid get 94947242 mil euro i will cry if he leaves :bawling:
Title: Re: Transfers & Rumours
Post by: Adi on May 04, 2012, 09:13: AM
He's worth a solid 25-30 million but I understand your valuation.  When Contraoro and others go for 30+, then so should Higuain. Transfermarkt has him valued at £31 mil.

I don't think Bayern would pay more than 25 for him.  We got Ribery and Robben at bargain prices and would need to get Higuain under 30 million to considering buying him.  Luckily, Madrid is a little loaded up top and in attacking mid so his value might be down.

I expect Hazard to be one of many changes at Chelsea this season. Nice move for them.

Chelsea signed Di matteo as their permanent manager now. I think it's the right move, but i hope he is willing to play a little more attacking with better players now.

Also, many rumours of Giroud moving to Arsenal soon. Arsenal still being linked with many strikers. Replacements for Van Persie? :017:

Ive heard van persie's name with either real or barca (cant remember) during todays game commentary.

Frankly, you will hear Van Persie's name with any big club for the next 2 months. 90% of these rumors are just speculation from newspapers and other stuff. I do think it's likely he'll leave. Arsenal have been on the down for a while now.

I think it would have been a crime for Chelsea to not give Di Matteo at least a 1yr contract. He won the biggest trophy in the club's history. Now, do I think he will take Chelsea to new heights, not so much. I think Di Matteo's strength is coaching a team that is an underdog and playing very defensive. This will not make them challengers for the league title. Chelsea's biggest mistake ever was firing Mourinho. They have never returned to level they were playing at back than.

Agreed.  The only person I would hire over Di Matteo would be Pep, but he probably won't be available until next year.  I have a feeling Pep and Mourinho will battle it out for the Man U spot next year after Ferguson leaves.  Mourinho will take Man U I think and Pep will take the Chelsea seat.

Also, many rumours of Giroud moving to Arsenal soon. Arsenal still being linked with many strikers. Replacements for Van Persie? :017:

It's possible but I also think Giroud might be a backup or rotation player behind RvP at Arsenal.  Bayern wanted Giroud and he was ready to be Mario's backup at Bayern.  I think we might see the same at Arsenal.  Doesn't necessarily mean he's RvP's replacement, that's all.

They are fools to let Redknapp go.  He is brilliant.  Maybe he wanted to hold on to Bale and Modric, while the chairman would rather pocket the 75 million.

1) Gomez
2) Mandzukic
3) Pizzaro

If we play a team that parks the bus, we can play two up top.  Mandzukic can also play as one of the wide attacking mids.  He's played this role at Wolfsburg before.

Dzeko for Robben won't happen.  Just a stupid rumour.

Van Persie contract talks with Arsenal failed. Van Persie disagrees on the club's plans for the future. But Arsenal say they want to keep him, even though he only has one more year on his contract. I'm not so sure Modric is the right player for Madrid. In Madrid's 4-2-3-1 formation the 2 center midfielders have a lot of defensive responsibilty. Let's be honest, Modric is shit while defending.

He is a technical genius with the ball at his feet though. Modric is better in a flat 4 midfield, like how Tottenham and Manutd play. And even better in a midfield 3, like how Barca or Chelsea play.

You do realize that in this formation Modric's role will have even less defense. That is the whole point in having 2 defensive midfielders. I expect to see him come off the bench in to one of the wider areas to use his ability to help Madrid's attack.

Which formation? 4-2-3-1 ?

I'm saying that in Madrid's formation he would have a lot of defending to do if he plays alongside Xabi Alonso. Because C.Ronaldo is pushed up very high, almost like a striker, and Ozil does not help in defending at all.

He will have a lot of covering to do for CR7. Khedira, Granero and Lass do this very well, but i doubt Modric can do it.

And I highly doubt Mourinho would play Modric as a winger, because he is clearly much better in the center, and Mou knows this.
Title: Re: Transfers & Rumours
Post by: redsforlife on Jul 10, 2012, 01:25: PM
You really think that Modric would be used as a holding mid? There most common formation would be 4-2-3-1. He would be one of the 3, and he most likely would be a sub.

For Real, he will be an impact sub at most. He is more than technical to provide a threat from any of those 3 positions. Whether he can find playing time is a completely different story. Real is stacked with attacking talent to use.

I think Modric's role would be like it is at the Spurs.  I think he'd play the role Xavi plays at Barca.  It might mean Alonso goes to the bench.  I don't see Modric playing ACM.

He's more of a central mid that comes deep for the ball... he'd be best suited next to Khedira.  Let Khedira do the dirty work, while Modric connects the play.

Xabi ALonso is one of the best midfielders in the world, and Modric won't be taking his spot unless there is an injury. If he goes to Real, he'll be a very good sub. Clubs as big as Real will buy top class talent to be subs. It's normal for a big club looking to insure they are on top of the table and win cups.

Van Persie also boycotted Arsenal pre-season tour. Sir Alex confirmed he is interested in buying him!! It seems unlikely now, but I've seen crazier transfers. Man City also interested. This is getting interesting haha

seriously, even though i dont think it will happen i hope United buys Persie!

Good signing and at a "cheap" price.

Arsenal is making decent moves.  If they can keep Van Persie they will remain in top 3.

Lucas Moura to PSG for about 35 mil euro! Manutd had an agreement in place then 'guess who' stepped in with a big money offer

Lucas Moura said he chose PSG because Paris is a better city to live in.......not because of the money

Great signing for Arsenal there at a decent 18 mil euro. Cazorla will play right wing because Walcott was getting stale imo.

I hope it doesn't happen. I think it will stall the growth of Welbeck and Chicharito, who are 2 players with insane potential.

He still has the talent but his athleticism abandoned him.  It's hard to remain a top player when you lose your pace, agility, and balance.  Athleticism is still responsible for at least half of your ability.

yes, but what i  mean is that he could have gotten much more out of his talent if had stayed in milan..he could have had 2-3 years more with being a superstar

Hmm.... I don't know which is more impressive, Balotelli's ability to stay at City despite all logic saying he should have been sent to Anzhi by now, or Gomez's unbelieveable ability to score goals without ever getting involved in the build up

Chelsea did a great transfer with Ba.. Although I don't like this team, you have to admit, it's a great move - a very good player for little money.

The Premier League’s summer transfer window is open with Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal set to be busier than ever.

Liverpool enjoyed success in the Champions League this year and their quest to end their league title drought in 2019 will be bolstered by the arrival of Naby Keita from RB Leipzig. He will not be the last new face on Merseyside, however, with Monaco's Fabinho already in. Stoke's Xherdan Shaqiri could be next or even Real Madrid's Marco Asensio? At United Jose Mourinho looks set to spend big again as he targets reinforcements in his bid to haul in record-breaking Manchester City next season. He's got Fred but another central midfield player is high on his list with a big money move for Gareth Bale not out the question.

For the first time in over two decades Arsenal head into the offseason with a new manager at the helm. That man is former PSG boss Unai Emery after a stunning 11th hour change of heart at the Emirates and he already has two new signings and plenty more on the way with a new central midfielder next on his shopping list. Chelsea are close to appointing a new manager themselves but across London Mauricio Pochettino won't be leaving Tottenham Hotspur after signing a new five-year deal.

We will have all the latest news, views, rumours, gossip and done deals right here so don't touch that dial.http://www.verifiedsoccertips.com/

Soccer match result prediction is such a vast incident. Visit http://www.soccertipsters.net/fixed-
draw a lot of fans and analyst always give a prediction about who is going to win the match sooner
than it starts. The forecast is done by scheming a number of variables, such as home development,
current team presentation, team effectiveness, and other variables.

These bets are mainly measured nothing more than a slight bit of fun apart from betting on your
own team is much pleasurable, particularly when they lose. Most people don't even consider that by
using a professional for their soccer predictions they would be able to place bets
http://www.soccertipsters.net/soccer-forecast which will over the period of time show an attractive
return on investment.

While betting on soccer you will find many people have their own information with considering the
soccer predictions they create. The mostly regular bets people make when betting on soccer is
moreover a bet on the team they hold or if they are watching a match on the TV they will rest a bet
to make the match a little more motivating.

You should consider how they have performed over a certain period of time. You can use an average
of about 2 weeks to judge. A really bad run of predictions spells doom. I personally use
http://www.soccertipsters.net/tipster/ because it is very simple to use. They categorize their
predictions into different markets the way punters want it. They are very consistent both in winnings
and in frequency.

Fancy sports are a combination of luck and skill. Just like other forms of sports betting or poker. The difference is, though, that fancy soccer is usually played for an entire season. This way that fortune even outs much contrast to betting just in a solitary pastime. For this reason, visualize soccer has often measured a game of skill.

Not if you play for free. On the other hand, if you are in a money association, then yes, you could think about it gambling. The thing is that there is definite skill involved that can increase your odds of winning, sort of like soccer prediction from http://surewin.soccer/ (http://surewin.soccer/). It can be increased by understanding, or by judicious examination of information. :You_Rock_Emoticon:

I enjoy it as a form of gambling. At least it obtains the place of soccer gambling for me and my
faction of acquaintances. Whereas I might have been interested in betting on soccer one week a
year or something trivial, the attraction to do that for me is now totally gone and replaced by a
wager on my annual participation in a fancy soccer league. Although my fancy soccer stake is
somewhat more complicated and involved than a straight bet, I wouldn't say it's predicted that
much more on skill than a series of hedged soccer bets by a knowledgeable gambler. A professional
soccer gambler is likely to have a series of for and against bets that make my annual buy-in and
occasional drop/add fee look primitive by comparison.
