Yes, the talent is there but he hasn't proved s**t in Europe.
This is the problem with Brazilian youngsters nowadays. Their clubs want 30-40 million for a player, when they used to go for 1-3 million in the past. It's not worth the risk anymore.
I kinda hope this guys turns into a Robinho 2.0. That would make my fuckin day.

It is hard to put a price on neymar because he is unproven at the highest level and played shit in copa america, which was the only high level test for him so far. But at the same time he is somehow already famous and has great marketability.......maybe its his hairstyle :017:

Real bought him, and IF they did now they did it for his potential. Real sees much in him, and Santos realized it too, so they wanted real money for him. And if Real gives him that salary, it keeps him in the team for long time, because many others don't want to pay him that much. And once you get paid so much, you don't want pay cuts anymore...

Trust me, i watch madrid play very often and di maria does not deserve to be benched. His defensive work ethic, brilliant passing and dribbling is invaluable. I do not know if neymar can play in any other position so he has to compete with di maria for a starting spot.

I think this is a terrible move for Neymar. Brazilians might be happy about it because they keep their star, but it doesn't do anything for his development.
He should be in Europe working on the transition to the European style of football. He'll be 24 by the time he goes to Europe now. I'm afraid he will be set in his way by that time. It will be more difficult to adjust your game and it will take him a couple of years.
He's an absolute idiot. There goes another Brazilian tallent wasting his full potential. Brazilians are retarded to be honest with their transfer policies. This is the reason their national team is sucking and no good young talent comes around. Now you have 1-3 good young players. That's nothing compared to the 10+ Holland used to mold for you.
