Title: 5 minute show
Post by: L_I_S on Oct 20, 2011, 07:28: PM
I just want to know the amount being charged at this moment in time.

Extra info:
-They just want you to do one show and you can leave.
-You can wear whatever you want and use the ball you want.
-Big or small event, if you charge differently post a comment.
-Currency: USD. If you charge in a different currency please comment below.(if it makes a big difference in numbers)

And does anyone know how much Billy W charges?

I have done only few lp's and they have payed me about 80euros each time... Some might think it's a ripoff, but I am satisfied for it, for now :P

I can't seem to modify the poll prices to be 151, 201 etc. Just pretend it shows 101-150, 151-200 and so on.

the problem i have is im nervous i will get the lp turned down if i seem like im asking too much, because they can be hard to get in the first place so normally i get about 70usd but its not much compared to what i hear other people getting -

how much should i ask for an lp (in US money since its pretty much the same as New Zealand Currency) at a halftime show at a pro football game in a 50,000seater stadium(which is unlikely to be sold out but still popular)

Just a halftime? thats it? if anything you should ask if you can do pre game shows, like an hour or an hour an half before game, to get more fans etc. if your doing that plus halftime, at a regular game ask for about 250+300 usd. if its just halftime try asking 150. :)

It's supposed to be just on average for a 5 minute show.
Alright, if it's a big company how much and if it's for some small town event how much?

Cheers. I completely missed the edit option but I can see it now.

I would suggest you to ask for more, defiantly. You should think like this, how much are you worth? You are spending hours and hours a week only practising your ability, you are probably one of the very few in your area who can do this and you know that the crowd is going to love it! I would say at least 300 - 400 USD for this, if your trip there doesn't take to long and so. Otherwise more. But also as Dan says, it depends on so many factors that it is impossible to give it an exact price.

OMG! i cant believe what US freestylers charge o.O
I though they at least charge twice my price due to the country they live in xD but I charge exactly the same amount of money, and for my country is A LOT....!!! $250-300 for small shows. And for big companies 500 (just two times T.T)
but i heard that Azun charge 1500 Euro per show.

ohh and JF 1000 euro per day outside UK

Post by: Alex17 on Oct 21, 2011, 11:35: AM
there are reasons why we charge like this :)
we have about 3-4 shows each week.
i have charged up to 600 for about 30 mins. and 1000 for one day of shows.
it all depends on the event/s.
Title: Re: 5 minute show
Post by: Gustav on Oct 21, 2011, 01:06: PM
one 5 minutes depends more on what type of event it is rather then how big it is.

If it is for a school-students, young football teams etc(stuff that is only for ppls fun and entertaintment) I usually go about 140 usdollar, if it is close to it, if I have to spend more than 3-4 hours on going there, getting ready, travel all included I take a bit more....perhaps 200usdollar

if it is for a company it can mean that I actually gain their money a little, and i therefor I want more... when ive done those I take about 2-300 more..

I think im too cheap to book now tho, so I think I will take more and push the price quite a bit.

Even without taking into account what events you were performing and your LP/show level, I'd definitely say you're undercharging. Maybe it seems like a good price for you, but really it's not...

All of that is true, but it also depends on how good you are, not on video, but in shows. You can't charge a top level price if you're not a top level act, you gotta have something to backup the price you're asking for. ;)

Have you heard of Billy W? It is not about freestyle skills, it is all about showmanship when it comes to lps. Sad but true

Nothing wrong with that... people want to be entertained.  Regular people won't care how difficult the trick is to a freestyler.  They'll care about how entertaining it is.  If Billy is a good entertainer, then he deserves what he earns.

Yes, I have. Have you read my post?

It's not sad, it's just how things are. The point of you performing is to ENTERTAIN people, the sad part is that some people still don't get it after all these years and think if they do a NT combo, they just did a great LP...

BTW, despite what many think of Billy & Jeremy and their skills (or better yet, the lack of), they still have a better show than most football freestylers out there.

lol, Billy W was in Canada for a bit , he was working in a very small town outside of Toronto. Idk how much in demand he is right now , but the freestyle market is certainly not in Tilsonburg , Ontario, Canada population 4000 cows . I agree with Azun, depends on your title , how consistent you are , can you engage the crowd etc

It pisses me right off that his shit video has millions of views and sometimes even shows up ahead of Beyond Football on Google when you search for freestyle football.
