A version of standing sole stall I learned yesterday. I'm not claiming to be the inventor, but I rather just chose to name the video after myself since it is my video. It's essentially a reverse standing sole stall. It's nearly impossible to get my foot at the angle necessary to stall the ball without my hand. My hand is there to turn my ankle over, not to steady my foot for the stall. I call it Noblet Stall, but I'm sure there are already multiple names of the trick.

The hand part and the ball landing made it look bad. Maybe some stretches would help you.

Nice logic. Tomorrow I'm going to upload tatw and call it Elias atw because I want to name it after myself since it is my video. :crazy:

Nice logic yourself, you comment makes no sense, and doesn't really compare in any way. Tatw is a very common trick, the move in the video is a very uncommon trick. It would make less sense for me to try to research whether it has been done before or named before than going ahead and naming it myself. Name of the trick really doesn't matter, but the video does need a name. Most tricks in reality have multiple names. I just assume it is possible that someone else has done it. Most tricks have been done before, because the body is only capable of so much.
by the way, it would be nearly physically impossible for anyone to catch and stall the ball there without the hand turning the foot. try it yourself, your knee isn't supposed to bend that way, and I was bending it far further than the average person is capable of.

cool idea but i think you can execute it a bit nicer. did you show that trick in prague?

Nah, I just picked it up yesterday messing around with new ideas for sole stall. It's a really awkward trick, and yes, to look stylish it will need work to make it cleaner. Right now, it's a difficult and somewhat ugly trick, but I still feel it is somewhat of an accomplishment. Maybe if my ankle was double jointed I could do it without my hand assistance. It's possible I could learn to squat and use my knee to do what my hand does as well, but that will be difficult.
Back to the name, it's my video and I own it, so I really can name it whatever I want.

You didn't give that reasoning in the first post. You could have simply put "cool trick".
I'll give it a go tomorrow without the ball and see if I can bend that way or not...it does seem possible though if you condition yourself properly.

It's possible, but your ankle would almost need to be double jointed. In all honesty, it's probably horrible for both your knee and your ankle to do this move. I think the easiest way to stall it there without using your hand to rotate your ankle would be to try to use your other knee to rotate your ankle, but that will probably make balance harder.

nice and I think its new, but it is just a "stall"... when I always watch michryc videos, or something like this, in these videos, he do 3 new tricks / seconds, and "If he want he can name them" michry atw, move, trick, stall, spin, etc... there is no many names which how many tricks he did.... (bad logic).

Stalls are types of tricks. The name is really of minimal importance to me. It will look much cooler once I can work on some interesting transitions to the move and out of the move. It's a bit harder than the other versions of standing sole stall I think, so it'll be interesting what transitions I can come up with for this. Shame I do my other standing sole stall right footed, so that'll make it awkward to transition easily between the two.

would be sick if you could do this stall then kinda go into sitdown and use this as a transition, I think it will look better that way. But I can tell it's pretty tough, so good job :PDT_Armataz_01_37:
