the forum has been running very slow for me lately and it seems most people are experiencing the issue.
I've contacted the host about it and they have done little about it. I just optimized our database and the forum seems to be running very fast again.
I hope it stays that way, but we'll see when things pick up a little.
Let me know what you experience usually here...
1) Dow long does it take for page to load?
2) Does it impact how much you post?
For me it matters... a forum must run fast so you can read, post and navigate quickly.

for a long time it has been slow. Sometimes slow and sometimes fast. But now today it is lightning fast. Hope it stays this way. Even the search feature is running fast :13: Before today the search feature was snail pace.

Hey Adi, I hope you don't mind me changing the title. I think the new topic would be a lot better to get everything to be as good as the community wants it to be. Feel free to change it of course.
Could one of the admins please update the jump to function? I really miss using it.

running good for me now -
1. it used to be slow - like sometimes it would take 10 minutes for the forum to open - then i would work normal - i only noticed that it was taking long for the forum to start but navigating after - was alright
2. no it does not affect how much i post tbh

Don't care about the subject line change...
We were down for a bit last night. Not sure how long. Host said it was due to high server load.
I am trying to upgrade to a better plan. Today's speed seems to be OK but not as good as yesterday.

just wanted to ask one question, dunno if its off-topic or not, but according to what time zone is forum time? Is there any way i modify it so its same as time at my place? :017:

I think you can change it under the profile settings.

It seems forum is running better overall. Let me know your thoughts.
Forum time should be set for USA Central. Profile/account settings allows you to change that and much more.

I forked up some money and upgraded to a more expensive server.
Let's see if this helps. It will take a couple of days to get everything moved over. I'll let yall know when the new server is live.

Can a few of you please go to the homepage and tell me what it looks like? Is everything in place design wise or does it look funky? One laptop shows it fine for me, but another laptop makes a mess of it.

Not really a technical problem,
but could you make it so if we want to share a picture on here, that we can upload it into the site, not really sure if you know what i mean....

If you press preview the option is there to attach a picture. I had the same question a while back.

Yup, as LIS say... check under "additional options" when you post. Additional Options only show up if you hit "reply." You won't see the extra options if you're using the Quick Reply at the bottom of the thread.
