Title: Best matches you have ever seen
Post by: moby on Apr 14, 2008, 09:00: PM: not sure where to put this but post your top three best matches you have ever seen and why.

1. Uraguay Vs Australia. world cup qualifier. i couldn't stay in my seat i was so exicted. you just didn't know who was going to win.

2. Brazil Vs USA. female world cup. one of the most skillfull matches i have ever seen. better then male matches. Marta was unstoppable. i eyes were fixed to the T.V

3. Barca Vs Madrid. that was so exciting. the best thing was Madrid won at the Nou Camp. :biggrin:

Bayer Munchen VS R Madrid (or as they called it "world war 3") one of the best matches ever played, with one of the best goals ever scored

Italy VS Czechoslovakia = 2-1 aet, world cup final 1934, in my opinion the most fought out world cup final ever

Brazil Vs italy = 0-0 (3-2 ps) - world cup final 1994 in USA, the first ever world cup final decided by the PS and the most exiting final ever

i have a DVD collection "world cup history" every single world cup game ever played, it a 30 DVD set, and i have watched them all

thats was a sick match. remember baggios miss. good old days of romario and young ronaldo on the bench.

I forgot one other game. It was a Portsmouth game about 2-3 season ago in which Pedro Mendes scored a sick long range goal to tie the game and keep Portsmouth from getting relegated. I forgot who they played, but the goal came in the last few minutes.

The game was against Manchester City, it was a Classic game, and a awesome goal

It ended on Penelty after the catch up.

yeah thats cause the netherlands lost when they should have won. But it was a great game, pitting the two greatest soccer minds of the time, and prolly ever against each other: Cruyff (personal favorite) and Beckanbauer. As a side note, I like dutch soccer far more than german :cheers:
