Good riddance! Let's hope this is a start to many good things. Hopefully the middle east can rebuild itself and rid its region from terrorism. Egypt is on the right path and hopefully more willing countries will make forward strides. I'm not saying everyone has to change like Egypt, but if their people want the change they should be able to make it happen.

It's silly to believe this will be the end of terrorism, but it sure makes us feel better. Finally some news the whole world can celebrate. Hopefully a plan of action can be made to help rid the world of terrorism. Obamas tactical approach is a good start. It's not a matter of you not caring if he's dead, you should be glad he's dead. It doesn't matter what you think about the effect this will have on slowing down terrorism. It's about this man being dead and paying for his actions. Each time a terrorist is killed our caught, it's a good thing. We won't stop terrorism but we should try to catch and punish as many as possible. I also don't think think terrorism has been fought this way before. Obama and other leaders are fighting terrorsim and are doing it in a new way - more strategic and tactical rather than simply bombing mountains like Bush did. When Hitler died, Nazis wen't away. While I don't think terrorist will go away with this, I hope it sends a message and puts on on the right track to somehow limiting terrorism.

It became more than Bin Laden through the years. Iraq is in rebuilding mode right now and US is not needed as they were before. I still think the US should have some role there, however. Not sure if you remember what happened before in Afghanistan. We went in an stopped the fighting, but then we left too early and nothing came of it. We should've stayed and helped with education system, etc. Instead we left as you request, and terrorist starting popping up. It's a fine line. Nobody wants to be bothered and nobody wants the US to run their country, but the fight against terrorism is far from over. I think the US still needs to stay there but with less man power and a more strategoci approach towards terrorism, while also trying to stabilize the education and political system so the region can benefit from all this.
People can hate all they want on the US and other western countries, but at the end of the day, we got the best infrastructure out of anyone in the world. Everyone has the oppportunity to be educated and successful, while not being constrained regarding religious beliefs.

No, not at all. It depends if you are one of those people who always believes in conspiracy theories.
There was a random guy who lived nearby the home where Bin Laden was. He was tweating during the strike on the home. He didn't know what it was about, but we now do.
This is like Donald Trump refusing to accept the fact that Obama was born in the US. Obama had to release his full birth certificate to shut everyone up. I don't understand why people are so after Obama. I think he has done a very good job while in office. He came in at the worst possible time and has done well. I don't know if they wanted to kill him, but it's reported that when they went in some people were armed. Maybe not all, but some were. They didn't want to take the risk of losing one of their own. Nothing wrong with that. It's not like this man deserves a fair trial anyways. It's not like he stole something or cheated on his taxes. He killed innocent people. I would prefer to see him alive so we can pull info from him and put him in a jail cell with limited food and peace. I personally think getting killed is the easier way out for him, but then again, he was used to living like he was in prison so maybe he wouldn't have had a problem in jail.

You can hit "additional options" at the bottom of your reply (can't do it using quick reply at bottom of page - gotta hit 'reply' to see it) and then there is a place for attachments.

There will always be stereotypes and there's not much you can do about. Some people are stupid, and sadly, the majority of Americans connected Islam to terrorism the first few years after 9-11. I remember some kids in high-school calling one of my middle eastern friends a terrorist in the hallway. Pathetic really.
Obama has tried to make the distinction though and has reiterated to the people that Islam is peaceful and people shouldn't look at the religion with such negativity. I've seen some clips on TV as well trying to help with this.
You just can't help what stupid people think.

Chemical attacks until our kids look like that. I don't care what you think of U.S. policy (I'm not a fan of it either), but to support those terrorists or even defend them to any degree is simply disgraceful.

so it allows US to kill 34000 Pakistanis against the "terrorists" including women and children in drone attacks? I dont see any rule in the world allowing this.

Innocent people always die and thats the sad part of all this, but Bin Laden wasnt the first bad guy to go down, trust me. There were thousands of other terrorists and supporters that went down with him.

Osama much like Rhetorical Question is just a tool a Persuasive Technique known as Propaganda. He seems to pop up whenever American needs to make a cover up for a more important situation. If the media was all truth then all the past leaders would've been ran out of business. They fuelled Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein, and now they picture them as evil so they be perceived as heroes.

No evidence except a fake photo and a video with an old man where even the similarities in our freestyle look alike thread are better than him and Bin Laden lol. And the media releases all the stuff and material they get without checking it before, even the 4 years old fake picture was sold the viewer as a truth at first. No evidence vs about 100 reasons why they should fake his death now, and anyway...most of people believe this Hollywood story, just sad :( Btw in the last 10 years it was like the 5th time I heard that Bin Laden is officially dead.
