Get it checked out, I had it for (4) years and had to do physcical therapy for it, the best is to get it checked out early

I had it and broke the tendon between the knee and top of the shin(?).
I couldn't bend my leg for 3 months. After 8 months I could play sports again. Not sure how you guys had it for so long..

you just had it so badly :s
i have never had it officially i guess, only sometimes felt a little pain after serious sports month and stuff... doctors only said to take a little easier and that should help... and it did

I had it i think about 1-2 years ago.. from what I know there was nothing that could be done about it because it occurs when your knees are developing.

also, from what i've read you can freestyle or do anything you want.. it will hurt but it won't get worse or cause any further injuries.

thats what i also heard. i will try out some tapes to prevent the pain a bit, any experiences with that?

you can try putting a softer sole in the shoes and taping around the "knot" in your knee, that could help against the pain a little bit.

otherwise i don't think there is much you can do..

Combination of plates/screws in my knees, healing process was different for me, the softer sole idea is good too depending on how much it hurts
