Overall I really like your style, especially in sitdowns. Your moves are smooth and you've got a good flow.

On a downside, those HTWs don't look good, they definitely need more work, add some "hop" to those HOP The Worlds. ;)
Also, the ducking ATM was unclean.

He does, but he can also do HTW - ATW, and I don't think there should be anything that's "gay" about doing HTW - crossover. Some people just prefer doing it. Emil Jylhanlahti does HTW - crossover all the time as well, and look how good a freestyler he is.
It's great that you're back in freestyle Danny my friend. I hope i can see you soon sometime in the future.

they prefer it because its easier. dont try to defend crossover all the time. its a trick that shows that you are still a beginner (maybe a bit better in some cases) in lowers plus emil j is a good freestyler yes, but his lowers arend that good.

Yeah right. MichRyc is a beginner (maybe a bit better) and so is Petike, and every other freestyler who even thinks about using a crossover. Bullshit. Crossover can be done with both style and with flow in a combo. It doesnt have to mean you are a beginner.

btw nice video Danny :) i like your sits!

true that! I really like crossover and xover and stuff but the thing is, that these tricks give you so much power during your combos which can make some freestylers think you are trying to rescue your combos/or you really do so

we are talking about retarded way of using crossovers - if you do htw-htw-co at the end of the combo - that's fucking gross to tell you the truth
or if you do one footed combos with co after atws

no it wont imcrease your strength. it is more the opposite. if you use crossover instead of htw to connect your combos you wont have the strength to do a combo with the same length without using crossovers.

And simon your comment is just plain stupid. of course michryc and petike are fucking pros and they dont use crossover the way my post was meant. i dunno about petikes long combos though, not that it would be important because he is one of the best allrounders in the world.

you don't understand what I tried to say:
A beginner is more likely to have to rescue his combo than pros. That means that if you e.g. a 5trick combo and can only rescue your combo with a crossover then do so in order to be able to do one or two htws more... it's good for your strength and your condition, of course when you don't need to do one, then don't do it!

and this doesnt increase your strength. because if you rescue the combo with a crossover you have some short time to recover plus the crossover atw combo isnt as exhausting as the htw atw combo is. if you're a beginner and strictly dont use crossovers in your long combos you will increase your strength and stamina way faster than with crossovers.

I think it's better performing a combo including many htws but with one or two crossover than a combo with no crossover but way less htws
apart from that I mentioned only to execute this kinds of tricks in order to rescue a combo you would drop plus the more tricks in a combo, the better gets your balance and stuff

with rescuing a combo i didnt meant rescuing it from dropping ( you cannot rescue a combo you would drop with a crossover). with rescuing i meant to continue it when you couldnt continue it with htw or other full revolution tricks. and i dunno what you mean with balance and stuff but it doesnt seem important if you look at russian freestylers who can do fucking long combos and ignore crossover.

michryc most adds matw nt to co. so thats crazy.
@max. i find htw atw more exhaustive than atw co. but as htw atw is a part of my style my flow breaks when i do a co.

thats only a matter of what you are used to, it doesnt make crossover a harder trick in general.

Guys this crossover thing is outta control.

Guys, if the cross over is followed by a no touch it CAN look good but there's only a few that can do it.
No offense patrick but his co-atatw nt isn't smooth, same when sanders (young) does co-matw nt, it just doesn't look nice. imo.

and training atw-co-htw-co and combos like that are worthless. Noobs spend hours training them and for what? Nothing. You don't do atw-co later in fs unless you wanna look like a fucktard zebra trying to molest a dog that was raped by an elephant, and you know those elephants, they never forget, never forget the abuse they went through at the zoo and the crocodile dick all up in there face...

The point being crossovers are useless. Like Max said look at the russians, wanna know why the improve so fast? They don't learn stupid shit.

Don't call my post stupid when it's you who generalizes crossovers. You clearly stated in your post above mine that you think crossover is a trick for beginners and noobs, and that there is no point in training it.
IMO i think that crossover is a great way to make your body 'used to' longer combos at first. Also when you have been training crossover from the beginning it: 1) Of course it improves your tatw and other cross nt tricks. 2) It will be easier to increase the level of skill in the combos you use crossover like MichRyc and Petike does it. Therefore i dont think crossover is as useless as you guys make it sound.

This is just my opinion, and it will probably not change yours, but thats just how i see it :)

And Samuel are you retarded? Serious question. I see you post nothing but stupid shit everywhere.

"and training atw-co-htw-co and combos like that are worthless. Noobs spend hours training them and for what? Nothing. Yeah, cause doing co-matw nt is really hardcore as fuck. Almost as hard as skora nt if you think about it!

It's funny since you call me retarded when should not start a sentence with "And." Also, "serious question(.)" is a sentence fragment.
It's useless training atw-co-atw-co. If you can find me any hardcore fser doing that in the middle of combos be my guest.

I SAID some make it LOOK good. I said absolutely 0 about difficulty. You yourself said Petike makes it look good did you not?
You should learn to read better and not put words in peoples mouth, jesus christ...

My point is I'm not going to waste time learning atw-htw-co because I think it looks ugly. If you read Max's post better you'd realize he was saying it pointless learning combos like that since you will eventually get to connecting combos with atw/hatw/htw.
Cross overs don't build strength either. Not nearly as much as atw-htw-atw.

My point is I'm not going to waste time training htw-co, atw-co-atw, etc.
First of all, I havent said anything about a hardcore fs'er doing atw-co-atw-co in a combo, I don't know where you get that from. You said and i quote: "Guys, if the cross over is followed by a no touch it CAN look good but there's only a few that can do it." So now its apparently a matter of style. Only a few could do co-matw nt with good style? Hmm. I guess there's maybe +1000 that could do it in the fs community. More than 'a few' right?
Second, its 100 % up to you if you're going to train crossover. I just point out why it could be a good idea, and why it isnt useless as you said it was. If you too think Petike makes crossover look good, why do you say its useless? Maybe they are to YOUR freestyle, but again you guys are generalizing the fuck out of it.

EDIT: Since you've modified your post i will answer you again here: I havent said that crossover build strength have I? Basically this all comes down to opinion. You don't wanna do crossovers thats your choice. But don't say they are completely useless in freestyle.

That you made other ppl's post's bold doesnt change your own posts. You said that there isnt any point in training crossover at all, and i think there is. MichRyc and Petike must've started somewhere right? If they haven't ever at any point in their freestyle history had been training crossover, they wouldn't have master them like they do today. PM me if you want to discuss this further.

And Alex: I havent said you generalized cross have I? You stated you thought crossover was okay when MichRyc and Petike did them because they're pros. I SAID SAMUEL DID. And dont call me a stupid fuck for posting my opinion, you fucking retarded troll.

WHERE DID I SAY PETIKE AND MICHRYC ARE NOOBS?

I did not generalize them, I said learning htw-co combos and atw-co combos are stupid.

Co-matw nt is good for learning amatw-matw nt, but training atw-co-atw same foot is dumb.

This, the forum needs some drama.

Anyway, I couldn't care less about what people train.
But I prefer not seeing crosses in atw-htw combos on video ^^. Surely it can't hurt practising your cross with both feet once in a while, even during combos for extra consistency.

No wonder the Forum is not like it used to be when all you care about is arguing with one another and loads of quality video get left with just a few comments, while at the same time there are countless troll threads with 3-4+ page discussions pointless subjects...  :embarrassed:

Some comments/arguements really are stupid, but then again reading comments like: nice style, cool video bro, loved it, sick, best video ever, is not very interesting. Constructive criticism wich, really got this arguement started wich I assume was to tell danny t use cross in combos a little bit less.

He can do whatever he wants, I just assume that it MAYBE, maybe it was just a tip and meant as something good.

1 - sick video danny i love the sitdowns, like miran said improve ur ducking and htw style! really great improvement tho i enjoyed it thoroughly and keep it up!

2 - fuck off dissing crossovers.. michryc, petike, pwg, andrew h, myself and many others use crossovers and i wouldnt say theyre "shit at lowers" lol..
all the people who were dissing crossovers have never achieved anything in freestyle..

its just a trick like any other. atm is easy but u fucks still do it in a LP...?

i removed my hateful comments about simon, take it easy simon - i was right after practice where i fell on my face and was in a bad mood
it all started with me saying 2htw-co at the end of a combo is clearly not cool, do whatever you want, write whatever you want - i'll stick to my opinion

There's a huge difference between a crossover in an lp and a crossover in the middle of a video.
Understandbly, you can do a crossover in the competition, since the trick DOES require the least amount of stamina (compared to atw/hatw/htw) it shouldn't be praised over a long atw/hatw/htw combo without crossovers.

For lps, it doesn't matter, you're not performing for fsers, as khoa said (in some thread) people prefer co's over atws/hatws/htws. Idgaf if you do a co in an lp.

But if you do smth like amatw-amatw-amatw (nt) -atw-atw-co-atw-htw. The crossover (for me) is like breaking the combo.
My opinion, it's debatable, but that's how I feel.

DantheMan has huge level in lowers? :D What the news. Who adds crosses to perform some nt or some creative trick, they really use crosses 'useful', but do patw-cross (patw right-kick left-cross right) as Kilkla did is the dumbest thing ever.

Arguing about a trick being too easy to actually do in videos or performances is retarded.  All good freestylers use easy tricks in both videos and LPs.  It's not about how easy or difficult tricks are everytime. Alot of the time, it's about how good it looks overall. Doing really difficult tricks is cool, but even the highest level freestylers still do easy tricks. Also, from recalling previous arguments from people about doing easy tricks, most of you who complain about people doing easy tricks fucking suck. Most you don't do anything, but easy tricks. You don't have anything to say.

yes crossover is not really a trick with more or less difficulty than atw or htw but if you look at the technical part of this trick you require a lot less strength to continue combos with crossovers than with htw or hatw. THATS the whole point. to give beginners the advice to improve their strength and stamina faster than the old generation of freestylers (including me; i was a very slow improver). if you choose to use crossovers then its ok from my side (and i think from all the others too), but dont hate when we state that using crossovers is not helpful for beginners who really want to improve in lowers.

You are just another BF fool. Crossovers are just another good trick for the arsenal of any freestyler. I really don't see how it could not be useful. When you are a freestyler worth mentioning, maybe you could talk. I'm tired of all the dumb people on here who just criticize, because they would prefer to see only one style or only certain types of tricks. It's called freestyle, so comment on how good the videos are, not whether doing a particular trick is easy and shouldn't be done.  There's also good examples of crossover being done by great freestylers in good ways, so I don't get the argument. Try doing alternating crosses like Touzani. It looks really nice for LP.

Max is a freestyler worth mentioning I think...
Cos will not help you improve as fast as htw-atw combos.

:D its incredible how dumb you are. i could kick the ass of everybody in your country in a battle so dont call me a freestyler not worth mentioning. and once again you missed the point either because you are too stupid to understand it or you just dont want to understand it. of course people should learn crossover as its a trick as all the others BUT it is not useful to do it in your combos if you're a beginner because you wont inprove anything with that. if you stick to atw htw hatw you can easily improve faster. I AM ONLY TALKING TO THOSE WHO WANT TO IMPROVE FASTER OK?

In Lps crossovers are nice and of course you can do them there. but thats exactly the same what i wrote in my previous post. did you get it now?

the thing with BF arguments is that people dont know what they are arguing about but they dont stop! clearly there are more than one topics being discussed here
cos for lp? cos for lower improvement? cos for etc etc.
maybe you people need to clearly state these before throwing insults :D
Thanks

Max and I are ONLY talking about the rate of improvement. Not lps.
I said they look bad in competition DEPENDING on the way they're used.
