Been searching high and low for a football, the guys i freestyle with in manc are probably sick of hearing me go on about it, but i need it and it's the best ball i've ever used, i've contacted adidas nothing! contacted pro-direct nothing! crawled through the internet for hours nothing!
it is the champions league 'finale' top trainer ball, the one i am looking for is the seamless surface one, not the official but the replica, but theirs 2 types of material this ball comes with, they both have a seemless surface, but one has a padded feel and the other a plastic more rounder feel which if you run your hands round you can't ever feel the corners, but the one i want it's basically has like the surface of a balloon, its completely round and doesnt have any edges or corners, thats the ball i have been looking for, i've been told the ball was only available to purchase for about 3 months and came out around April last year.

I think I know which one you're talking about. It's the one that's the same as the old Teamgeist and Finale models that came out before the Europass, the ones that had a smooth surface.
From what I remember, Gustav has that ball, so you can ask him for the name of the model, but if you can't find it, just get any Teamgeist/Finale matchball that was released before the Europass, it's basically the same ball.

It's close to that one, but the one i'm after say's 'top training' on it.
the one in the picture above has curves in it, but obviously you could feel them if your ran your hands around the ball.
the one i'm after is basically like the one above with no curves, its the finale ball i posted, no stitching, no edges at all, its just like a balloon.
it was available to buy in all sports shops for about 2 months, i regret not getting it now! :embarrassed:

that's the ball and design!, but the one i want is a different material.
the picture above is in the link i posted at the top of this thread.
a mate says the one i'm after could be a prototype they released before the matchballs and replicas was made available in the UK shops.

Where did you try it? At a store or at a meet? You know anyone who has it?

i came across it at a meet in june 2010, he popped his last year so he doesn't have it now. it was only available to buy from march-june 2010 in shops.
like i say it's the ball posted above, but it's that exact same design but there's no edges, no corners, it's just like the surface of a balloon. it's like the stars and writing have been printed onto it.
been looking for it for about 8 months now, you can't get it anywhere now, was hoping someone still had it and didn't use it.
my mate who popped it is gonna have a search round as he thinks he still has the ball, so at least i could then have it to hand, which could help my search.

Yeah, I think he's your best option. At least he can tell you the exact name of the model. :)

yeh absolutely!
it's just the top training ball, but different material, if i'm honest i doubt they sold it outside the UK anywhere.
would make my year if i managed to get one! :grin:

just an update, due to contacting adidas and them replying to me, and not having a clue what ball i'm on about (even though they made it, how sad) i've decided to give up! lol
I've started to use the jubilani replica ball again today, as that has no stitching and has a comfortable feel, so there we go!
