Title: Songs that should be used in videos
Post by: L_I_S on Feb 24, 2011, 11:22: AM
What are some songs that you think should be freestyle-a-fied?

A chill video for this one. I can just see it.
Jurassic 5 - Work It Out ft. DMB (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jn3JuuYmvac#)

For some reason, I can see this in one of Becs' videos.
Stone Sour - Say You'll Haunt Me (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLSVgBd9ypA#)

You don't have to post the video but it is prefered.

C'mon, you're not going to make that many videos that you can't share a few cool songs you've found.

As usual, dnb is great for fs. It gets really sick after 1:30

I'll keep that in mind. I won't be spending time and effort making the clips in sync with the music any more.

I think it works fine with just putting som hip hop/rap with som hardcore lowers, but that's just my opinion x)
Btw, Tobias Becs usually edit his videos with hip hop music, and his videos are great too! But of course, everyone has their own taste of music, but I think many freestylers agree that hip hop music and football freestyle just fit together somehow. peace and no offence (:

my friend who is not an fser was like why the eff would anyone use hip hop for fs??? it just doesn't go together. he likes hip hop but thinks it doesn't go with fs.
he says an fs video must have hard rock/alt metal.

I think it depends of style and what kind of video is it, if style is fast, rock music and dnb goes well with it, but if its slow and chill style, rap is best for it.  And rock music is best for syncing editing to it, while its hard to make sick sync with rap music.

I think some heavy metal songs could be used in freestyle. Look up the song "2 weeks" by All That Remains. I'm sure hardcore could sink to that. I think it takes a certain type of style to do it though...
