How do you deal with them?
I threw a chair and a bottle on the pitch and accused him of racism. All that did was get me banned for another 2 games. :nopity:

hahahaha. i swore at one and got a yellow. then kicked some body on the back of his leg with my studs and gave the ref the greasy eye. then he didn't do shit

What exactly happened melbourne? Sucks to get banned for two games.
The ref once made a bad call on me and I cussed at him... not even that much, just said "What the fuck is that ref?!" and he gave me a straight red. I was supposed to sit out two games but got it reduced to one game.

holy shit, red for that? Like everyone on my team would get banned every game hehe

Yes, it was unbelievable. They made NO-CUSSING a new rule and wanted to make an example of me I guess.
For college, a ref told us that ANY cussing will result in a red card. One of our team mates got nailed on a dirty challenge so he said "AH FUCK" and got a straight red. He didn't even say it loud... said it kinda quietly as he was on the ground.
Then one of their players got one as well for saying something. Refs just put themselves in a shitter when they claim they will give a red for cussing before the game even starts. Makes them have to give a red if one of the players hears it and points it out. It really ridiculous especially in an intense game.

has a ref ever been jumped...because we are an under 16 team, and I swear half of oour players would jump the ref if he red carded them for swearing. And they swear alot at the refs.

I think that reputation reflected in the refs decisions every time we made contact with other players he called a foul. But what annoyed me most was when an opponent nearly broke one of our players leg and he ignored it like it didn't happen. I was already sent off on the bench. We started cursing at him from the bench than I just started throwing items from the bench at him.

But that's stupid about the no-cussing rule, you can't even show emotion. Just look at hockey, if you made that a rule then hockey would be boring cause they'd never swear at eachother or fight.

my god this thread reminds of last season when the ref got a call and had to leave at half time and the so called second ref (the other teams assistant coach claim to be a fourth ref) became ref and never i mean that whole second half crossed into our half and kept on giving the other team faulty off-sides

i remember i almost got into a fight once. i kicked the ball and then some kid came in with a late challenge and then he hit my leg i said ref whats that he's like dont yell at me then the kid get cocky so i pushed him then our teammates broke us up luckly nailed him with a punch when evry one jumped on us. then got subed off. :down:

when i was like 9 years we had a very bad ref, he was like 15 then. when the opponent threw the ball in for themselves and just walked he didnt whistle and in the halftimebreak our coach talked to him and in the 2nd half he came crying on the field. that was really justice, we laughed although we were behind very far

once i kicked a ball right at the refs family jewls cuz he diddent call me a penalty, but he diddent do anything cuz he cudent prove i had done it on purpose, but normally i just go and clap in their face, not to original i know, but its cool

tht videos funny..the ref looks like hes falling over in slow motion lol..i hat most referees and the linesmen in the games..iv had a couple of goals dissallowed this season when i was clearly onside..iv also bin booked cuz i swore in frustration..not at any1 but cuz i did something wrong..

i almost gt a red for hitting the ref's son after he elbowed me right in the face, he didnt tho and after ppl backed me up for the elbow thing he was very appologetic and we were already down to 10 men, lost 2-1 and that was the 1st 'n' only loss tht season

the worst is when the other team plays dirty and when u strike back THEN the ref see's it. I also told a ref to screw off cuz he didnt know shit, got me a yellow at the age of 12.
