Hi guys, I love freestyling but I also play soccer a lot, and I am on the highschool squad and I have practices on 5 days of the week, each one is 2 hours or more. On one of those days, we run around 6.5 km, and I am DEAD tired for the entire week because of this! Do any of you have a problem like this and can't find time to freestyle at all? I haven't freestyled for about 3 weeks now and I really want to, but just can't find the energy..

just do what u wanna do ..if u wanna play futbol it requiers a lot of compromise as same as freestyle .. but u dont have to go and practice freestyle just for " u have to do it " u have to like what u a re doing .. and u find the streng

I used play soccer almost every damn day, for high school squad, and was in the varsity team since freshman year, while freestyling.
My main focus was soccer, but then freestyle came along, and i wanted to do both.
I used to skip some practices of soccer, to go train, or and i will tell coach i had to leave early( i would go freestyle).
Then i got bored of field soccer, started to play futsal everyday, quited field soccer, then i would freestyle and play futsal.
Now i sometimes play futsal, but freestyle more often.

Here's a little something from the ancients:
"If you chase two rabbits, you will lose them both."

I hate to agree with Khoa (not because what he's saying is wrong, but because he's right.) You most likely won't be able to do both.
The only thing you have to ask yourself is which is more important, freestyle, or soccer?

you deff can do both!
maybe not proffessionally on both..

doing both regular football and fs seems unrealistic.
I think its about setting priorities......but it seems like you already have a priority since you have not freestyled in 3 weeks. :040: Good luck :great:

yes you can do both, but you are gonna be lame in both, i freestyle like 5 hours a day when i dont have lot of university homeworks, 3 when i do xD haha and that is really exausting, just realiza this bro, study, preactice soccer 4 hours, the freestyler for 2 hours (at least to raise your level), then homeworks and then eat, and then... oh shit the sunrise again xD i didnt sleep xD hahaha
its like imposible bro, imposible if you want to be a master of both, i think when you do something you want to be good at it, dont you?? but as khoa said: "If you chase two rabbits, you will lose them both."
hahaha just loved it...!!!!

haha thanks guys, I guess others have had this problem before. I definitely enjoy freestyle more, and I do have time for it, but the thing is that I am so exhausted that I can't find the energy to freestyle! It's not that I don't want to freestyle, I really do! Just that I don't have the energy, after all the runs and soccer practices, it's impossibly hard for me! Should I just quit soccer..?
-
i tried to do both as high as possible,, but then freestyle took bigger part on my life and i strongly decreased football... i just play it for fun (trainings 3x per week)... even when i had trainings 6 times a week + games, i went to freestyle almost every day. I just had to sacrifice some of my social activities,,, :P

Khoa is very correct. When you get older, there are less time for everything. School takes more time, you gotta pay attention to friends and possibly girlfriend(s), so it's kind of neccesary to stick with one hobby. I don't know bout anyone who has more than one hobby, school and friends, that didn't get exhausted. At some point in your life, you gotta prioritize what's more important for you, soccer, or freestyle.

idk about time management. but the answer lies in the greater passion, that will help you decide what direction to go (Y)

If you enjoy freestyle more, why not just quit soccer and spend that time on freestyle instead and improve alot?
Why play soccer if 1. You don't enjoy it and 2. You won't become a pro and earn money.

haha well I've tried very hard to make it this far, and the reason why I don't quit is because I am one of the only freshmen on the squad and that's tough! It would also look good on my transcript so I really don't want it all to go waste.
1. I do enjoy soccer, but not as much as freestyle.
2. As soon as I turn 16, I can start earning :)

Well, then keep soccer and once youre done with it quit and spend alot of time on freestyle.
There really are no other solutions than to prioritize one of them. Or if your muscles aren't aching and you just feel "tired" you can go freestyle anyway and wake up during practice. If your muscles don't need to rest i suppose it's just the willpower needed to go practice. :great:
