Hey everyone, i am just wondering about the next red bull street style competetion if it's actually still on or not. because i've heard some people saying that rbss is stoped, however in south africa the managers or whoever they were said that there will be one in 2011 or 2010 and also i've seen a website saying that rbss in russia starts in may i think, so i dont know also there is no info. on the website.. so post what you have heard or you know!

I'm not completely sure but when i met Dan Wood he said it would be in 2011, when i saw him in September i think
Hes the head of Freestyle Federation but if you really want to know you could email red bull or something
I doubt Dan Wood or F3 have anything to do with RBSS.
Anyways, this topic has been discussed in a number of occasions, don't know why's everyone making such a fuss?

I meant MONEY. Red Bull Italy probably have other events/projects which they find more important than RBSS this year, meaning they don't have a place in their budget for RBSS.

I think the National events are this year and the world final are next year.

If they're going to do a sh!tty organized event in the United States like last year, then I'm just gonna ... Damn, I don't even know, stop drinking Red Bull or whatever...
It was lucky that we even found a good winner (Angelo) last year.

just got off the phone with guy from red bull ireland.. he said the world HQ of red bull has pulled the plug on RBSS for 2011 coz its very expensiv.e.. countries will probably run all the qualifiers in early 2012 then have the world finals in late 2012 like november... but thats just what he told me 10 mins ago, i dunno if its definetaly true :/

they wont have the qualic in norway before early 2012, they told me this like one week after rbss south africa...
so my guess is that it goes for the same in most contries and that the world final will be in end of 2012...
main reason is that they wanna wait as long as possible to get more competers and even higher level then last time...
it cost alot to make such an event... and redbull is all about the money and selling cans. never belive something else...

Maybe they don't give a f***?
I could definitely imagine this being the case, when you look at how much other (bigger) events and projects they have in other areas (sports) and of course, the number of sponsored athletes they have in other disciplines.
Certainly they prioritize sports like BMX, Skate, etc. over freestyle football, those are much much bigger and stronger scenes and thus a much more appealing market.
What was it like I wouldn't know, you'd have to get first hand feedback from the US freestylers, but I guess you can check out some YT footage and pictures on FB.

US RBSS was shit! no doubt.
First they say they wouldnt have a rbss, then yes, then only a final. After that they would pay for my flight to atlanta, then they can't.

spoke with redbull today... it will be for sure in 2012!
but qualics will be held closer to the final that will be in end of august or start of september...
Witch contry it will be is not desided yet... there are some strong canidates figthing over it... i have a feeling i know where it will be. but we will see :)
Qualic in norway will be in June 2012!

The website isn't an official redbull thing, so they probably looked up on youtube RBSS and saw that sean won it earlier, I wouldn't trust it.

RBSS Webiste went down, I think they are actually fixing it with some updates(hope so). Stay tuned
