-
Anto Rosić! :Woot_Emoticon:
-
Azun (RBSS winner, crazy lowers and proved, as bevs stated, you don't need jeans and breakdance to win a major competition)
Luki (Prague winner, All-round craziness, flow, and creativity. still the best uppers for me because of his flow and body moves.)
Mirko (unbelievably pushing nt limits to the point where it's just unbelievable...)
Skora (with the videos he's released this year, IMO he proved that he's still the most hardcore lower body fser even with the likes of mp, ars, mirko, domy, gunther etc...)
MP (Most massive improvement and became CLEARLY one of the VERY TOP in Hardcore lowers.)
-
Mirko, MP, Bengua, Turlakov..there's just too many.
-
michryc, mirko, matte linder

Wait until Turlakov, BenGau release videos for the latter stages of WPUC3 and you may reconsider
I would put Gunther and DomyB aswell in there too for proving if you train only one trick you can be the best in the world at it (no disrespect, i like that theyre pushing it to the limit)

You're probably going to get flamed for that :P
-
Mirko, for those hardcore combos,
Luki, First winner of rbss Poland, and then winner of prague comp! thats insane.
Andrew, for his sick tricks, and routine in Prague.

gunther can also do some amatw nts and is also good at ahtatws and domybd is not only good at patw, also at ahmatw etc.
-
mp,mp,mp
-
Mirko,Brian Lockyer,Mp,DanTheMan.
is his ass really that tasty?
mp is definately the biggest name of the year...along with andrew and azun
-
yosshi and yamato
-
you guys are forgetting michryc who won pyrzyce, and rocco with his insane videos - also he won some hungarian tournament
clyde was amazing too - i forgot to mention him
representing the sport at poland got talent show and finishing 2nd in prague - i consider this bigger achievement than rbss - this is my personal view on the situation and come on rbss is not a real freestyle comp - winning pyszyce or prague is harder since those are judged by freestylers and less controversial decisions are made there - i don't say none - bu still way less

-
Mirko, MP, DomyBD, Andrew, etc...
Just named freestylers who have really shone THIS year
-
yamato hands down
-
yosshi and yamato
dont try to appear alternative. both of them are clearly not the most amazing freestylers of this year. they cant compete with the achievements of mp andrew mirko or the feeling these gave to the freestylecommunity
-
I am gonna be very revolutionary and vote for Andrew, Azun, MP and Mirko.
There are a lot of more guys aswell btw.
-
Skora,MP.Azun,Domy,Ghuner,Mirko
-
MP, Andrew..Dan perhaps for everything he has done. I'd also have to say Oli because he has improved so much this year.
-
yosshi and yamato

didn't wrote those two to be alternative. imo they rocked this year big time, especially yamato coming out with some of the sickest moves of the year, his mind is really open. not taking away the respect to andrew mirko mp and others that have been mentioned, cause i love their freestyle a lot and have lots of respect for them, but I appreciate more coming out with something completely new and fresh

depends what you're basing it on. I assume you're basing it on how hardcore they are, obviously yosshi and yamato are no where near their ability in combos. But they destroy them in style, and plese don't comeback with something like "mirko has amazing lower style". I highly respect all 3 for their ability but yosshi and yamato's freestyle is just very enjoyable to watch compared to them imo.
-
Ethan it's my opinion you faggot.
He has improved so much this year,He has bet 2 of the best freestylers in the world (Zegan & Skóra) so shut the fuck up.
-
Andrew, luki and azun.
-
we all forgot the most important:
Lucaso!
this shouldnt just be about who made cool videos, this should be who added the most new flavour, energy and new dimension to freestyle in 2010...

Totally agree with you. Mirke and MP and all those sort of guys have done amazing achivments, excactly as Yosshi and Yamato have done. So it's just a question of taste.

andddd? the freestylers of the year is???? : ? ? ?! then? is MP for more entries? :wtf:

what Max is trying to say is that amount of work Mirko, Mp put into their training is way way bigger than that of those japanese guys - and i totally agree
-
1. Azun -- no comment needed.
2. MP -- came out of nowhere this year and has gotten massive respect from the fs world.
3. Luki -- winning in Prague proving that he is one of the best allrounders in the world, and at his young age! :O
4. Footwork -- I think Mirko & Co. has taken hardcore to a different level. Massive respect.
5. DanTheMan -- Yes, i do think Dan is one of the top5 freestylers of the year. First of all he has done so much for the community recently - and second of achieved at top8 ranking in the European Championship. He has definitely proved his worth.
Others who are worth mentioning are Linde for his incredible videos which many fs'ers have loved, Lucaso for the CFFA European Championship, Some asian freestylers but i honestly don't know much about them but i am always amazed by all the new stuff they come up with, Michryc for Pyzrasotjuaoga (can't spell) and constant creative and consistent combos. Andrew Henderson, who btw is my current fave freestyler, for everything. He is just amazing! :D He has the potential to beat everyone in all upcoming events..
and thats about it from me (:

Hey wait a second here! What do you know about that? Like i said, they have both totally different styles and they practice in two different ways. I think Mirko never would land such a stylish moves like Yosshi does even if he practice all hes life. It's harder then people think to have the awesome flow that they have. Some people have tried, but often, it just look terrible.
And even if Mirko have put more effort into their training, how does that automaticly make them "the freestyler of the year"?
Please don't be so close minded and just think that your tought is the right one. People are practising really hard to develop their own style, And if you never have tried it, then never come and tell them it's not hard to do what they do!
Still, i have huge respect for what the hardcore people are doing, and im not telling you that they are not putting more effort into their training then the Japanese style. But don't say it IS like that. Because you don't know nothing about how it is to practice any of those styles. Be more open minded and don't take things for granted. Hardcore dudes are awesome at what they are doing and i respect their skills, but that's just not my cup of tea. And that's the reason i said Yosshi was the Freestyle of the year.

+1000 Amen! Each style has his own difficulty, you can´t compare :great
-
well I think MP and Mirko
but for most improved i would give it to krogseter! I mean he seriously had the biggest improvement imo!
again if its for best freestyler then MP and Mirko

lol why not? He had/has a pretty serious injury and couldn't freestyle for a while. Yet he still managed to land some pretty sick combos, so I would say he did improve very fast. I realize some would say Skora or MP or something, but for me its still krogseter! just my opinion anyways

here we go again. if you go for the sickest improvement is is NOT a matter of opinion. krogseter can be your freestyler of 2010 thats your opinion. but he isnt the sickest improver by FAR. mp had without any doubt the sickest improvement. also mirko and i dunno about akim.

haha ok man you have more experience in this so i guess ur right mp did improve a lot but krogseter did improve quite a bit in the last few months as well
-
actually yeah! Krogeseter FTW!!
that dude improved soooooooooooooooo much since i met him in Norway in 08, he did cross ahtatw nt recently wtf!?!?
sick stuff Krogy keep it up
-
We're not talking about Fsers with the most improvement this year... We're talking about the fsers who were the HIGHLIGHTS of this year...
FREESTYLER OF THE YEAR
No offense to Krogy, I think you did improve a LOT this year, but he's FAR from being one of the highlights of 2010...
Here's a list of who I think were the best fsers or highlights of this year. Who was THE Freestyler of the year is a different question.
MP, ARS, Mirko, Luki, Bengau, Turlakov, Tobias Becs, Yosshi, Andrew Henderson, Adrian Krogseter, Domy, Skora, Gunther, Zegan, Clyde, Azun, Akim
*Spot the odd one out*
Putting Krogseter there is like putting Neymar da Silva (who has improved like crazy this year) as one of the contenders for the FIFA World Player of the Year... amongst footballers like Xavi, Messi, C. Ronaldo, Iniesta, Eto'o, Higuain, Daniel alves, Sergio Ramos, etc...
German has improved a lot this year and his style has improved from shitness to sweetness... I still wouldn't put him in that list and he's WAY better than Krogseter. Sorry but it's true.
I hope you get my point...
-
I'm wondering why nobody has mentioned Kamalio. :sign0065: This guy shocked everybody with his stuff at RBSS!
-
i agree 100% man haha i just meant in general, i forgot bout Krogy..
but yeh, i think most improved of 2010 were MP and Mirko (in terms of raw freestyle ability)
-
Mirko,Brian Lockyer,Mp,DanTheMan.
is his ass really that tasty?
Haha! Just what i was about to say Ethan! ;)
mp is definately the biggest name of the year...along with andrew and azun
-
MP THE NAME OF THE YEAR :) :You_Rock_Emoticon:
-
For me it was Yamato, because he brought in some crazy new moves and he's got a sick ass style to top it off.
BTW, the name of this thread is "freestyler of the year" and not "the most improved freestyler of the year", so it's about your OWN OPINION, who impressed you the most and not about who's trick/combo difficulty in airmoves progressed the most. Therefor, people are allowed to their own opinion on the subject and write something other than MP, Mirko, etc.
-
I`d say Mirko or Gunther, but in my opinion have a nt record, is not the same as win a World Championship or European Chanpionship, so I can say: Azun or Luki, just decide which competition you prefer
-
LUKI! ftw :sign0151:
-
Yamato and yosshi definitely!
It depends on our taste, so we don't have to agree with each other. I think that we don't have to discuss with each other who's the best, we should just write names.
I know, that the purpose of forum is to discuss, but here it's pointless, isn't it?
sorry for english :(

Luki <3
he's an amazing allround freestyler, fast as fuck uppers, stylish lowers and very technical sits. he does many cool transitions and he's an amazing performer. every touch of the ball of his is amazing and dont deny that its not. He won Prague, Won RBSS Poland and has shocked the freestyle community with his upperbody control and personally, has inspired my performing and training alot :)
Mirko <3
what needs to be said, this guy has come out of nowhere with crazy nt's and combo's with some of the hardest moves ever. He's pushed the boundaries of "hardcore lowers" further than some thought possible. I mean, at the beginning of 2010, who wouldve thought someone would come out of nowhere and land 17 amatw nt, 15 matw nt, latw-hmatw-alatw-latw-hmatw-alatw-latw-hmatw-alatw, almatw matw nt latw nt. He's the Usain Bolt of freestyle football
DanTheMan <3
Not kissing his ass, personally I think he's done SO MUCH for freestyle this year! What with organising Amsterdam, coming top 8 in Prague, choosing the judges for RBSS world finals. Not to mention he's done some sexy combo's and I cant beleive he beat skora :O
Lucaso <3
organising prague, what else needs to be said. thats a huge job and he set it all up. good on him! :D
my opinions, if anyone has a problem, voice it, I'd love to own you in an e-argument. :embarrassed:
