I have no problem performing in front of people, ive done a few large LPS, but for some reason whenever someone puts a camera on me i get extremely nervous, this also happens when im recording for my own videos.
I didn't notice it till now, i was at the park training w/o my camera, but a group of people recorded me when I wasnt paying attention, and when i saw the video and compared it to the stuff i capture on my own camera, i noticed a huge difference in style/flow/speed/difficulty
does anyone else get nervous?
how long does it take most of you to hit the combos you get on camera?
any tips for getting rid of this nervousness?

some combos take forever some dont mate but the camera thing u just need to completley block it out and dont think about it its not hard trust me lol
my 1st time being on camera was on john farnworths dvd with him and i just kept starring at the cam and then start to think oh shit the cam and the 2nd one was with wayne rooney street striker was funny that one but i got more confidence then didnt think about the cam and it went away
just block it out in anyways but keep on subject and it will go away

Yea me too. Hasn't happend often, but when it does I get nervous. I usually do the super basic moves just incase.
Except when a friend want's to see something 'awesome'..then I have to step it up a tad and still end up stuffing up. Feels shitty :\

Yeah, It happens to me as well. I didn'T freestyle in front of camera for several months, but I can remember it very well! I just thought "Come on, man, it's up to you if you post it on the net or delete it" but somehow, the nervosity didn't go away :-/

well, i don´t really have the problem, i´ve often been freestyling in front of friends and they filmed it
haha u get nervous if u film urself?:D:D

I don't know, I just find it different in front of a camera, I can't get into my "zone" for some reason :p I've never been shy of people, I think im a bit camera shy

Doesn't happen to me
^^most pointless post of the year
If anything I get more determined to do better because I want to be able to prove I can do things.

if you mean a teenager filming on their camera phone i couldnt give an absolute shit...
if you mean a tv studio with around 10 cameras a famous presenter and like 1000 ppl in the audience i get a bit nervous but i got used to it, fine now...
i used to have that, when i would film my own trainings with my cam.. after around 4 or 5 days it will go away completely...
its strange lol but yeh, just film yourself loads and it will go away

Just seeing if it happened to anyone else :p it's not as bad anymore i just pretend like the camera isnt there, but for some reason it always felt wierd in front of a cam.

Dude, it's not a pointless post at all. :P
I see your problem Samuel, though I haven't had the problem, however I believe that you should deal with it likewise as perfomance anxiety.

LISTEN TO THIS MUVFUKAH!
look, if someones recording you or watching you FS, WHO GIVES A FLYING FUCK? Go out there, do YOUR thing, freestyle YOUR way, because I doubt that old man or teenage girl recording you couldnt do 1% of what your doing. and who cares, if its just some random, you'll probly never see them again in your life. who gives a fuck if 25,000 people are watching you, none of them could do better, so who cares about dropping it or not doing the best you can, JUST GO FOR IT!
