Title: Mascherano

The topic of respect is filling the column inches after Javier Mascherano's petulant display towards referee Steve Bennett at Old Trafford on Sunday. Mascherano, who was shown a second yellow card for dissent, could face an FA charge for his actions, according to The Independent. In The Sun, former Arsenal and England striker Ian Wright offers a four-point plan for bringing respect back to the game. He believes clubs should be deducted points if players are found guilty of dissent and says only captains should be allowed to speak to referees if there is a dispute

Thanks to Torn for the GIFs.

hmmm, its wrong i guess, but sometimes the Refs calls just get on your nerves, and i have had confrontations with refs for stupid calls that have ended up getting me 2 red cards across the years, but you should control yourself because the ref isent going to change his decision after hes made it, so theres no point in fighting

There is two ways of looking at it, but what ever punishment he gets is what he deserves. Their has to be a degree of respect between referees and players you can argue with the ref but no need to say out of line things.

I reckon Mascherano was on some serious drugs that game (I want some too ). Coz his attitude and behavior was ridiculously stupid!
After he got the first yellow card, he just kept saying to the ref:"Fuck off!". He made himself look like some hillbilly that never finished elementary school...
He could/should've gotten a red card then, but the ref was very patient IMO.
And if that wasn't enough, after Torres got a yellow card, he comes up to ref again (although he was some 20 meters away) and starts craping into his face again! And after he got the red card he starts harassing him (probably coz he realized what he'd done)... If I was his coach or teammate I'd probably give him a proper smack right that instant.
The thing I find most disappointing is that Benitez defended him after the game!  :saywhat:

P.S. I also think C.Ronaldo & Drogba (only to name a few) could easily get at least a yellow card every game for their pansy diving. It just makes me sick watch player (try to) cheat like that...

Javier Mascherano = Retard Guy.
Biggest game of the year, Benitez are going to take his first victory over United ever.
It's matches like this that the big players are waiting for and don't wana lose them for nothing in the world. Then there's some retard guys (Mascherano) which fucked up it all for Liverpool after a few minutes. After the red card there was nothing Liverpool could do and United won the game easy, thanks to Mascherano.

Then we got the second retard: Benitez. I can't believe that he actually defended Mascherno after this, it's his fault that the game turn out the way it did !!

Bad for Liverpool, great for United

Yeah I heard about it from a friend. Rather funny how they let players say what they want. In Sweden it's yellow card for cursing and red if you say like cock/fuck/whore/pussy

I was at this game and was confused at why Mcfadden had been sent off.

Liverpool get a lot of descisions for them and as soon a somthing goes against the the over-react.

i know thats what i am trying to say

mascherano went up to the ref 6 times in total. just shouting fuck off. he is a mong and definetly should have been sent off. not really a good role model to younger people who were watching.
