Title: Footballing Reality
Post by: Tito on Mar 22, 2008, 10:40: PM
its about time i get back to making threads
i just wanted to point out the fact that not only in the Premier League but in all i mean all european league the good teams get better and the shit teams get shit, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, the games are predictable in most games and most game aren't as entertaining
and this takes me to the point that the champions league proposal to have less of the big teams isn't that good but also has a bright side for the smaller club and all of football
why? cause to the smaller clubs of smaller nation get paid and can get investments and soon enough they can be a force to be reckoned with
also i believe upset isn't always about underestimating its also about a new style of the game and superstar born in 90+ mins which scouts may not go to the little counties and most probably make names for themselves in the UCL

i'd like to know what you guys though about these statements

I've always agreed with that proposal. Its unnecessary and selfish having 4 teams from one country in the UCL theirs a need for more verity.

I agree. Especially with england. In england, the crap teams are REALLY shit, ands the good teams are REALLY rich. I think spain has a more well rounded league that plays nicer (but not better), more beautiful soccer, on the whole (top 5 english teams are an exception)
