I had the same problem. You'll have to learn some basic moves. Practice them, and combine them. Then you have started.
-
the only way to get very good at groundmoves is to play against oponents.
The reason for this is that otherwise your grounds will always look rehearsed and are always in the same order. If you want to make them smooth and fast always practise them with an other player ...your little brother or something :)

Thats not true.
groundmoves are different than streetmatch.
Groundmoves are combos where different variations are "rehearsed" into small combos combined..
While streetmatch are (mostly) basic groundmoves confusing the opponent.
I use totally different moves in the two catogories..
But anyhow .. its all about the style.
EDIT: Grammar mistake.

You all learn diffrently, so you can't really say "That's not true". Your groundmoves can be practiced by playing against somebody aswell. There are many ways, not just one right way

EXCACTLY that is why i can say "That's not true" - since he stated that it is the ONLY WAY.

Oh, sorry didn't see that ;)

ok. Well maybe its not the only way . You are right about it.
But there is in my opinion a reason why dutch people have such a smooth style (me excepted , i suck big time) , its because they play against others.
I aqree that grounds and street match are 2 different things , but i have never seen a good ground player that isnt good in street match to be honest. So it does come together in most cases.

TRUE Licht!
If you want to learn it fast, then you need to know or meet someone, who can do them.
You learn way faster by having one to show you the stuff.
Tutorials are good, but take way longer time.

Agreed. Gustav helped me a lot! His grounds are amazing!
oh wait lol.......

i find it easier to learn new stuff, if you already know some basics, like me, who have been playing field soccer all my life. I took the moves i used in field, and made it more "street".
i kinda knew motions and all that stuff
