Title: Prague Competition (some questions)
Post by: oLi on Jul 17, 2009, 12:32: AM
Is the airport far from where the competitino is held? Is there more than 1 airport?
How is the public transportation? Would it be easy to travel from the airport to the location of the competition?
Is there any free accomodation for competitors?

Answers are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I Prague there is just one international airport Ruzyn?...
if there wont be too much competitors from countries so far I could give a lift by car... in other case it is not so far... just travel by bus to metro, then 10 stops by metro and you will be at meeting point... how to get there I will write on sites till end of the July...
public transport in Prague is very simple... just 3 lines of metro which you can use for transport almost everywhere...
For competitors there isnt free accomodation but hotel rooms will be managed and booked for them... you have to pay it yourself...

I am prepared for any other questions

Thanks for the answer my friend! I have been interested in coming ever since I heard about it then my polish friends said they were going and then I saw how cheap the flights were so just good surprises all the time. I guess I'll have to check some hotels in Prague but I bet they are expensive seeing how Prague seems to be a popular week end travel resort for europeans :(
