Anyone hear Beckham killing Donovan the other day? Thought it was brilliant. Donovan calls him unprofessional and Beckhams like....nah, played for 17 years at the top, for the best, with the best. I have no hate for the US. I think it is a fantastic country which I myself have lived in. Its just, for the most part, US football fans really struggle with their idea of the game...and have zero banter.

The US has had a league for a little over a decade really. And already players like Onyewu, Adu, Bradley, Dempsey, McBride, etc. have/are playing for top/decent teams in Europe. Who would have thought that Americans (of all people, those filthy, disguisting people) would go as far as to being picked up by AC Milan or Benfica.
It's only a matter of time really. It's no surprise we aren't as savvy when it comes to soccer as the rest of the world. We can dominate our continent, no big deal. But as time continues to tick and we continually grasp the concepts of the game, it's really only a matter of time before we actually are consistent. I'm sure this is scaring you, KingNuts, so you're trying to get as much insulting of our country done as possible, and I accept that. In fact, there's not much I can say about Americans right now. But the inevitable will soon catch up to you and bite you in the ass :lol:

I am right that the majority of American football fans are way behind Europeans in understanding the aspects of the game. I will also be right when I say that I don't care how many of USA's average players are scatterd across average teams in Europe (bar AC Milan I guess, although I don't see Oneyweewewwe playing really), you will not produce a player close to the top players at the top internatioal teams. Not in 50 years will the US have a player as good as Kaka, Messi, Ronaldo, Xavi, Rooney etc....probably not in 100 years...will not happen.

you're pissed off that america has outstripped Britain, or wherever the fuck you're from in everything else that they do, be it world affairs, sports, or...anything except for cricket to be honest...and therefore you're clinging to the groundless notion that no american (bloody yanks!) could possibly, possibly be as good a soccer player as Messi or Ronaldo, or whoever. I'm sure it also chafes that the USA has been making strides in soccer and is improving at a fairly steady pace, whereas your country remains in limbo as a good team that rarely actually wins anything (1966 pride). You see this kind of sentiment everywhere, actually. It's laughable, really.

I'm not pissed off with the US. For the most part though, the US soccer fans on here don't have a clue. Why have you strated mentioning world affairs? And, please. An American talking about out stripping others on WORLD affairs. Most people in America think Europe and Africa are countries. Why you mention world affairs when trying to big your country up is very strange.
The USA has not been making good strides in soccer. You have the same quality of player you have always had really. Maybe you have slightly more playing in decent leagues but you are not making strides. You guys beat Spain in a friendly tournament and you think you are making strides in "soccer", mannnn.
