TBH i just find that pretty boring...
All of them doing handstands in jeans...
Anyway Yosuke looked PISSED OFF when he lost haha...
the winner did that continuous flip thing, that was sick

Tbh... i Hate watching stuff like this. Almost non of tricks they do, is about freestyling.  :dontknow: Always standing on hands and doing crazy jumps. Yea, it is impressive, but not in a football freestyle battle, they should go to a breakdance competition instead, in my opinion.

FX vs Rocco = that's a real battle i'd say

 :dontknow: what to say!

These guys are so creative and I would be confused as one of the Judges.
I love their Styles.

its only reportage, as it was seen before, the battles were quite cool, especially yo's, with tricks like spinning sole stall, or spinning shin stall :D

omg why Yosuke do always the same stuff... it was the same in Sao Paulo
here I just see another world of freestyle full of flips and dancing with a ball... and if there are lowers it is non stylish :saywhat:

This is only a reportage guys... Tokura is one of the best - if not the best - lower freestylers in Japan. Bet you will be surprise seeing his combos in South Africa.

im sure fx is really affraid ;)

nah he is probably good.  but this is not my taste of freestyle, its good. but not extreme enough for the breaking/flips style...

i HATE this stuff
doing like a backflip or hanstand once in a while is aight but in like every round its boring
i also dont like the whole jeans look
at the end of the day its a freestyle football comp not a breakdance one
really glad tokura won
hope he does some of his insane lowers in south africa
and i agree 100% fx vs rocco best freestyle battle ever

LOL
But still Tokura's lowers should be decent enough. I mean just that if you guys are watching this now and believe this all he does, you will be surprised in South Africa.

i agree with Tokura's lowers and if anybody saw what Yo did during these qualifiers his stuff, as somebody mentioned before, was pretty sick although we all know that already cos his vids are carazy

This is more like breakdancing not Freestyle Football. Yes incorporate break moves but not nearly the whole routine.

Oh yeah, I can see the "respect all styles" thing going on in this thread!

This is just a highlight video and it's kind off logical the guy that edited it put a whole bunch of acrobatic moves which are attractive for the non-freestyle audience watching the video.

Instead of just criticizing them based on what you've seen in just this video, go watch some of their battles, for example YO's and see if they're "breakdancing and not freestyling"...

the 7th handstand was amazing. i think these sort of tricks should be used like u would use bottle stall for the crowd, no one wants to see more than one. anyway, those did look like monta balls, what kind of ball is that?

there are some great styles and creative moves in this clip..................
but in the end it´s not creative if every freestyler does that handstand block and stuff like that.....

Those aerial moves are good entertainment for the crowd.

But I agree with the others, the break dancing moves were a bit overused.

Overall those were some cool battles! (^^)

I loved some of this! Because there are some really cool transitions in some of those moves - and that really does give freestyle extra spice if you know what I'm saying.

I believe Japan will go far.

ouooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
JEALOUS
Whats happened freestyle football is not only jongling with the ball
hey guys !!!! wake up !!! football is not freestyle football you can play with every part of your body and use the style want you want!!! if you want do the same stuff all the time with rules and everything like that play football
but you must respect all of styles
if you see 360 with the ball between the legs you think it is breakdance !!! break dance is not this
the freestylers who use this kind of stuff or backflipp is just play with the ball again like you
AGAIN MAN SEE ALL THE VIDEO YOU DO ALL OF YOU THE SAME TRICKS
ALL OF YOU !!!!
You think it is normal ????
you can prefere lower or practise just this
but you cant decide what a beautifull game with the ball is!!!
just practise in the way you think

i think tokura will be very good in south africa but i think FX will be very good too
and you will see who will do the best things with the ball
i hope it will be a beautifull competition

pleasure
Séan

Ok, thats youre opinion Séan and i agree with some of it...
But look at these "creative" "original" japenese freestylers.. all of them wear the same clothes (jeans and t-shirt and normal shoes) and they all have the same style, and they all do the same tricks
this is not "creativity" for me...
they are trying to be different, so they became all the same... its boring... a mix of both styles is way better

i never said it is the best think to do but you cant say they have the same clothe style because you do the same with shorty short and same tricks
creativity is a big word and i think nobody again is CREATIVE always
but freestyle come more and more better
