Title: The best improvements
Post by: Onas on Jun 22, 2009, 08:11: AM
I wanna your opinion about the best improvement after small amount of time?
For example, I heard that Mehdi is freestyling only 2-3 months. How the hell did he do 22 amatws?!

Do you know about more extremes like this?

many freestylers have improved for example when anders became azun
Tobias Becs is another big improvement i think when i saw his january vid it was safe to say he was an nt master
and i think skora improves the most out of any freestyler all the time, its just that its the hardest to see since he is skora
Fx part 3 vid to FX part 4 vid because in part 3 all u were atw/crosses and in part 4 u saw patw combos
just my opinion and their are more of course these are just the big names
 :pimp:

Well, that are some good improvements, but can you tell me some examples of freestylers that are training for small amount of time (for example 6 months) and can do some hardcore stuff, e.g. alatw or ahmatw combos?

for the example of 6 months i dont know anyone but if they are doing hardcore combos like those they are training a lot because their is no other way to get good that fast...maybe a freestyle genius and alatw might not be harder than ahmatw combo to learn in that span  :pimp:

I would like to modify my post
ARS i think is just insane i think this may answer your questionn he shares the world record with skora for 9 matw nt he did that recently in may after just over 1 1/2 year total freestyle
and after 10 months he was doing 3 amatw nt and satw

omg big bullshit in this topic..... there was not that much improvement between fx part 3 to fx part 4.... fx part 3 wasnt meant to be a hardcore video.... fx wanted so show some cross stuff. he was sick at hardcore combos in this time.

and medhi only recovered from an injury 2-3 months ago.

to the ahmatw and alatw.... even i was able to do ahmatw after 6 months... this trick is no hard to leearn trust me.

fast improvers:

patte!!
dantheman
kb-freestyler from germany

I think I did alatw after 6 months and I practiced once or twice a week during my first 8 months of freestyle because I played football aswell.
There is an 11 year old from Ukraine that has done both alatw and ahmatw and that really displays how easy the tricks actually are.

Mehdi has been freestyling for aaaaaaaaages... he only RE-STARTED since the injury since 2-3 months.. did you really think that he can do so much hardcore after 3 months?

Fast Improvers:

Patte (great improvement)
Matt (freestyles 5 months or something)
Becs (really fast improvement)
TF (Become a master in not long time)
and also I think that Azun have to be on this list because he had become a freestyle master in 2 years or something.. And patw really quick

Patte improves fast. Kevin (he calls himself Kefix) also improve very fast. In february he did combo with 2-3 tricks, now combos with over 20.

And Azun improved alot when he started. In june 2006 when Palle did patw, Azun wasn't too good. He still managed to be the second to do patw in september I think. He got patw in under 1 year of freestyle, if I'm not completely wrong.

Thx for mentioning my name - but i'm pretty much the only danish freestyler that doesn't improve fast  :booty: ..
haha .. but once again - as Brizze said.. the improvement is all about how much you practice..

Patte and Linde - crazy improvers.
and btw. check Munck out.. a new danish freestyler who came out of thin air with new-shit and hmatw-amatw tatw-matw nt and stuff like that.

IMO dan is one f!@#ing fast improver right now
I mean each video he makes he improves in every aspect
like 2 months ago I was like why isn't dan in the intermediate comp
now I'm like, he's definitely advanced now
big up dan the man

However, I think Skora is at the top of improving
while he makes sure his air combos are the best
he also improves his new shits/creative stuff, uppers and sits
and it's not like we've seen a video where the ppl are disappointed, he's always putting up something new for the fs world
setting records
and he's still going

omg big bullshit in this topic..... there was not that much improvement between fx part 3 to fx part 4.... fx part 3 wasnt meant to be a hardcore video.... fx wanted so show some cross stuff. he was sick at hardcore combos in this time.

and medhi only recovered from an injury 2-3 months ago.

to the ahmatw and alatw.... even i was able to do ahmatw after 6 months... this trick is no hard to leearn trust me.

fast improvers:

patte!!
dantheman
kb-freestyler from germany

i said ahmatw combo not ahmatw and fx didnt show any previous hardcore videos he did tatw amatw nt in fx part 2 yes i know but must of his improvement wasnt shown to the world before
BULLSHIT
fx part 3 was added to the net on 10th may 2007. Like Max said, it wasnt meant to be hardcore video, he did some crossovers stuff n shit. And fx did patw combo in MARCH 2007, so how can u say his improvement wasnt shown to the world before?
and when i said ahmatw combo u put ahmatw in my mouth?....here we go again...i said much of his improvement wasnt shown to the world..clearly i said this because their werent a lot of vids of him as they are now spread on the web on different sites and shit...some cant even read its sad...so dont be quick to attack someone especially on the internet because i dont have time to go check out facts of when videos were releassed...have a nice day ;) oh and i mentioned tatw amatw nt for a reason kind of hardcore back in 06 dont ya think

MP, Russia - 11 months - skatw, eatw etc. (but shitty style)
German, Russia - 1,5 year of freestyle - patw, eatw etc.

Yep German defo has a great style.. And yep, as Max said, then they are good at 1/3 of freestyle...
Anyway they can do what they want, i dont wanna tell them what to learn, but all im saying is that its not all about rushing yourself to learn tricks like eatw if you cant do a sideheadstall

Actually, yes. I have watched many Russians. 90% of them have shitty styles and can't do shit besides lowers.

done it or master a trick is a huge difference.

just because you can make a trick fast for the first time, doesnt mean you have learn it...

almost everyone can manage to put the ball on the side of the head after one day ;) doesnt mean you can do sideheadstall hehe

freestyle is not just about vidoes, its also about what you can show live or when you meet someone...

really hard to know who improove the most just by looking at vidoes.
these days i would say dan from irland... verry quick learner with great style and controll.

and one more thing, if you have freestyle for 5 years its verry hard to improove. so people should not forget the "old" guys that still learning tricks ;)

German can do some uppers, not bad uppers,
Dunno about MP,

And German and Anyone is the most consistant fsers (especially German) I've ever seen...

Let me ask you some little questions, I just curious nothing more...
Have any of you guys done any public LPs solo?
If yes, what tricks did you do?
How do you transition from lowers -> sits, or sits to lowers or sits to uppers?
How many percent of tricks that you do can you use in a live performance?

If they wanted to learn side headstall they would've done it in 1 day, definately. Anyone that can learn 5 amatw within 11 months will learn  side headstall in 1 day

I'm not sure about that. And btw you talk as if lowers is the hardest to learn in all freestyle. It is also up to THE PHYSICAL CONDITIONS of the freestylers practicing it. Do you know why many Polish can do hardcore combos, while only some minority of Asians can? Because the Polish and anyone from Eastern Europe have very fast legs, and powerful ones (i.e. Skora) that allows them to learn hardcore lower combos really fast. The Asian guys are not that fortunate.
But in the end, it mostly come down to doing what you want. Freestyle is about expressing yourself, and people have a variety of epressing themselves. If every freestyler is a hardcore combo guy or a creative trick guy it both becomes really boring. Variety is what ensure everything to process forward. It is also what makes freestyle beautiful (and yes, IMO, freestyle shouldn't be just chasing hard tricks and forget to express your true self. Many people (I won't mention the name) say that if you do anything different  from hardcore nts, new Sh!ts and AHMATWs combos you're not a freestyler and being a circus player etc... OK, I'd rather be a circus player, and it's not that bad either, if that's the way that I must express myself!!!!).
Respect all style man... and yes, I'm really doubt if one can learn sideheadstall in one day.

well i watched the videos of the russian lp comp and they were boring as hell. okay you are very sick atw hardcroe lowers....(saw 4 latw and skora atw and 3 amatw nt or something) but your sits and upper and especially the transitions between them are totally crap. it takes very long to become good (not average i mean good) at sits. also originality is an important factor of a freestyler.

but in case of hardcore lower you are right leha and oli.... the russians are the fastest improvers.

Don't find any explanations why some are better in smth, and some are worse. Look at Yosuke, he has very fast legs, maybe the fastest in freestyle community, you can find someome in Eastern Europe who has slow legs.
Everyone can learn what he wants, everyone has all abilities in all kind of sports, but ofc in different amount...

If you are as creative as Michryc, as good at doing sds as Nazim or Filip, and as good in uppers as Weird (only), or if you are great allrounder but not have any style at its best - all say that you are great fser...

I don't buy that.  Skora always gets hated on because of his massive thighs .

He's worked his arse off too mate, and plenty examples of skinnier guys that are ridiculous fstylers as well.  Yes maybe the strength of Skora helps him a bit for the long and difficult combos but it belittles him and the other lads to say it's down to their strength, they've put in a lot of work as well.  Plus you build strength the more you do it, doesn't matter what ethnicity you are really. I know Asians who are really strong and powerful, they are not freestylers, but you get what I'm saying.

also its much about what you were able to do before freestyle.... like ars who was able to juggle about 1500 times had much better control than i had because i was only able to get 20 juggles.

i dont understand where this is going.. Skora has huge muscles BECAUSE he freestyles... in his old videos he was more skinny.. and from doing huge hard combos his legs have become more muscular.. as is normal.

His atws aren't stylish, if we could see him doing many lowers tricks, and if he would have great style in all (ok, or in almost) of them then we had been able to say 'he has great lower style'...

Yeah, agree :) I could do 10 juggles before freestyle :/

There's nothing crappy about you. Remember? Your country's education's the best in the world(or one of the best ones) and you've been taking English for at least 8 years at this point. There's no way it's crappy.

But anyway, back to the point: Why are 3 amatws nt better than uppers or lowers? You can see it in almost any video today. That's why everyone's getting better at it, but dude, is it really worth learning?   Just to be a fucking clone of everyone else.

Uppers and sittings (you wanted to say) had been better if they would have more complexity than those 3 amatws nt...
I would be more glad if I did 12 amatws nt, 7 ahmatws or 200 htws than 10 facerolls or 10 ss-orbits...

Dunno where you find 'the best improvements' in them...

So what are your opinions on that? Share with us!
Anyone (it's nickname), Russia - 11 months - 5 amatw nt, 3 ahtatw etc.
MP, Russia - 11 months - skatw, eatw etc. (but shitty style)
German, Russia - 1,5 year of freestyle - patw, eatw etc.
And ARS ofc.

so then they are good at 1/3 of freestyle..... no upper no stits = not the best improvement

though i have to admit that their lowers are very sick.

Actually, yes. I have watched many Russians. 90% of them have shitty styles and can't do shit besides lowers.
P.S. It's 1/4 of freestyle. Grounds and akkas really hard to get good at.

Just a quick note. I found grounds SOOO much easier too learn than i am finding freestyle. I consider myself as an okay grounder.

Nah man, proper ground moves like those Matthew did are really hard to learn. In ground moves there are tricks and hard tricks just like freestyle, and doing the hard tricks with style requires a lot of skill. I thought like you in the beginning too, but now grounds has become soooo much harder.

I won't be. In fact I'm only happy if all my tricks (even if I only know crappy tricks) are done with fast pace and as stylish as it can be. It all depends on each person. You have your preference, but don't make anybody else follow it, 'cos it's pointless.

so why is winning all the arguements so importen for you? cause in fact you cant really know 100% who improove the most hehe.

you can only know who improove the most by your freestyle friends you meet often...

and even that is still your personal opinion. maybe one of your friends think a upper trick is harder then learning amatw nt hehe...

just wanted to contribute to that asian-european thing. i think its bullshit.

most asian freestylers are not as good as european freestylers in hardcore lowers just beacause they dont practice them as much as, for example, polish freestylers do, and not beacause of their race, that has nothing to do with freestyle at all

if you compare asians to eastern europeans you should also have in mind that there are also latin american, african, etc. freestylers. you dont see a big difference between them do you?

I've never said it's because of their race! It just because of their physical conditions overall (i mean not as individuals but as a whole).
For example, in Asia i think there's only KTH who can do the most hardcore combos, and he's been practicing almost the same time Skora has! What's that tell? If everyone's physique is the same, then he should have been really close to Skora right now.

If you improve in average way as you can do all the stuff (long combos, nt, hardcore without nt, hard tricks) in about an equal parity, it's harder to learn skatw than 3 amatws nt...

IMO we should stop this senseless discussion, to focus more on topic . The original topic of "the best improvers" were changed into "which is harder?" in no time...
I guess it's time for it to end. I'll begin first!
The best improver, IMO, goes to either Dan the Man or Tom Folan. Their improvements were soooooo great, that's undeniable. :rockit:
Skora is also a very fast improver too. Respect for him, as he has the most hardcore sh!zzles in the world but still get going!

hmm, i think its easyer to do 2 ss orbits than 2 ahmatw's, but that could be because i can do uppers better, although i do land ahmatw with ease and on first go. im thinking of doing it in my next LP

i think i already said, but matt from UK improves fast.
keller is the fastest though :P

I said non stop SS Orbits because there's 2 ways to do them.
The easy one: Do one, wait for 05.-1 second and do another one.
The had one(The non-stop one) - do an Orbit and, as you catch it, let roll and flick for the second one. Trust me - this one will be way harder. I've done an ahmatw about 6 hours ago after reading this topic. It took me around 10 minutes to land it and I've never even practiced it.

hmm, i think its easyer to do 2 ss orbits than 2 ahmatw's, but that could be because i can do uppers better, although i do land ahmatw with ease and on first go. im thinking of doing it in my next LP

i think i already said, but matt from UK improves fast.
keller is the fastest though :P

don't be mean

Klikla improves pretty fast. for someone who has been freestyling since september 2006 he is very very good. He pulls NT combos with style and his long combos are pretty decent.

And now train 2 ahmatws, it won't be done in 10 minutes...
Ohh, yeah, I remember like you said to me:"Today I've done combo with 2 ss-orbits. Ohh, you can't realize how it's hard then I give an example the equal lower combo - combo with 2 patws in the middle. That's how ss-orbits hard"
PS Over a year ago you said to me that you've done ahmatw and ahtatw for 1-2 times...

It will be funny if Mikael says he can do 2 ahmatw or has done it next time he is online or something

Actually, it wasn't just the 2 SSOrbits, you stupid Russian fuck.
Cause I don't train them. NEvertheless, I got an ahmatw in 10 minutes of trying, I'll film it for you, if I have time. However, that won't be before I see an SS orbit from you. ;) Yeah, Idi. And I didn't practice them ever since.
P.S. Stop putting "..." all over, you retard. Shows how shitty your grammar is.

It was 2 ss-orbits (separately) in a combo, ahah, 'in lowers it is combo with 2 patws'
Of course you did it in 10 min, because you did it already over a year ago and you have enough speed of legs (ok, only your right leg) to achieve it...
P.S. My English grammar is actually shitty, I try to improve it all the time...

stfu retard, look at the beginning, I just said that Patte and others not better improvers than Mp, Anyone, Greman and ARS, and you started arguing about what you can't even know (sds, uppers)... + Mikael's post about me - just those 2 moments made topic as it is now...

i think i have a higher chance of landing 2 ss orbits the way u said than 2 ahmatw's. if u said 2 head roll moves...thats alot more difficult. better arguement there since its not a bigger surface to control the ball.
ill try do the ss orbits for u 2moro morning, if not in my next vid :)

this is turning into more and more uglier thread as i go down the pages.. cmon guys, its the OPINIONs of each individual, so of course it's difficult to come to a consensus amongst the fsers who are arguing here. leha can be right in certain areas, or maybe not, but it's still better to accept other's opinions rather than going against each other, as long as it makes some sense of some sort.. see what this thread has turned into?  :dontknow:

i cant judge about improvments in Europe or other continents, becouse i dont watch who improve fast there. i know that i Russia the best improvement in lowers have anyOne and MP(unfortunettely). and this is not mean anyOne cant do sits or uppers. it isnt true. what about MP - i dont intrestig in it at all.
PS all the mikael trying to insult Leha, Russia or russians is not more, than a girl gossip in women toilet in the school
